Saturday May 10 - Primate Vivisector Jack Gallant home vigil
Date Saturday May 10
Time 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Location Details
1057 Siler PL. in Berkeley. The home of UC Berkeley primate vivisector Jack Gallant.
Event Type Vigil/Ritual
On Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10PM, we will hold a vigil at the home of UC Berkeley primate torturer Jack Gallant.

Jack Gallant is the only current known primate vivisector at UC Berkeley.

The non-human primates languish at UC Berkeley because of him. Gallant subjects these animals to misery with the use of restraint chairs, bolting their heads still, fluid deprivation, and electrodes inserted deep into their brains. Primates in captivity self-mutilate. They tear out their own hair. They exhibit the same symptoms of depression that prisoners of war suffer.

His home is located at 1057 Siler PL. in Berkeley. if you need directions. It's in the hills - so it could be a task to bike there. We'll try to shuttle people. Email us if you need a ride!
