Group Releases Toxic Fish Report, Discusses Plans for Berkshire Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Omaha, NE – “As long as there is no business as usual on the Klamath River, there will be no business as usual for Berkshire Hathaway and Mid-American Energy,” says Karuk Vice chair Leaf Hillman.
Hillman and others from the Karuk, Yurok, and Hoopa Tribes as well as non-native commercial and sport fishermen will host a press conference to discuss the role that Warren Buffett’s dams play in the demise of wild salmon, its affect on Tribal cultures, and coastal fishing communities.
WHAT: Press conference featuring Tribal officials, native activists, sport and commercial salmon fishermen.
WHERE: Press conference Friday, May 2 at Courtyard by Marriott, 101 S, 10th Street, Omaha, Nebraska.
