Stop this Deportation

by webmaster@polbrennan.com (information [at] polbrennan.com)
Irish political refugee Pol Brennan needs our help and support he is still held in isolation in a Los Fresno's jail in Texas awaiting a deportation hearing. Pol is not undocumented he has not been turned down for work authorization and is in prison due to a bureaucratic mistake. He should be returned home to his family and his job and be allowed to live his life in peace, without the shadow of further political actions.

Pol’s employer said about Pol, "He lives here. He works here. He's got his life here. He's married here, He's become part of this area. And it would be a crying shame to see him leave when he doesn't want to. He said that any U.S. deportation of Brennan would be a "terrible thing."

Pol and his family are residents of Oakland California were they have lived openly until this bureaucratic mix-up. Pol has been incarcerated since mid January and unable to work. All money raised through the Web Site will go toward the horrendous financial burden which is building each day, every little bit helps, it will let Pol and his family know that we are behind them in this arduous fight for justice and decency and perhaps we can be a small light of comfort in what for them must be a very dark time.

I know Pól, he and his family have been torn apart by a mistake that OUR government made. Now he faces deportation to Northern Ireland , possibly without notice. You can do a lot to help this poor family. Due to the ever increasing legal costs, they are in danger of losing everything as Pól may well lose his job as a Carpenter due to his confinement. At this point, they have no income at all. Please go to the web site and read about the incredible circumstances surrounding his life. You'll also find contact information for politicians who can help as well as a Paypal area where you can donate. There is also an address that you can mail your gift to.
One last thing I would ask you to do, is to pass the link to Irish, Humanitarian or Catholic groups you know and ask for their help. Please act now, before this current administration steamrolls over him completely. Please use my e-mail address to contact me if you have any questions at all. Just be sure to add "POL" to the memo part, so I know that it's not spam.
Thank you very much, now please go look at the site,

if the original case against pol was not pursued because of the Good Friday Agreement and its negation, and the GF Agreement was brokered by pres. Clinton, and now Mrs. C is running fro pres with the idea of supporting her husband's deeds AND impressing working class ethnic (read Irish) voters, as well as making sure that folks know that damage this Bush presidency has done, then shouldn't this issue be brought directly to the Clintons for the kinds of high-powered assistance and attention they can provide?
