Largely ignored by corporate media and self-censored by progressive media around the World, there's been Chinese organized global day of protest at dozen cities across the World and China to protests Western media bias and Against political and media bias against China on Tibet--France, CNN and BBC.
Chinese around the World had been angered by western forces bias and false coverage at recent riot on China's Tibet, and the related cold-war racist actions and xenophobia against China and Chinese around the World (for more information, please read my report "What's Going On in Tibet?: http://www.peacenowar.net/newpeace/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=428&Itemid=1) with false claims by Tibetan impendent activists, and the protest against upcoming China's Beijing Olympic game on August, 2008.
Chinese around the World also angered by western corporate media and the so-called progressive media ignore their voice they often outnumbered "pro-Tibetan" protesters in 20 to 30 ratio. Without and proof and a sign of racist red-baiting, some falsely accuse Chines protesters are paid-government agents and nationalistic mobs.On April 9th during the San Francisco protest, CNN's Jack Cafferty calling China's goods "junk" and Chinese a "bunch of goons and thugs."
This outraged the Chinese communities around the World, and prompted the community calls for April 19th Global day of actions against CNN, BBC and France (which French President and many politicians had openly call to against China on Tibet).
According to the media, tens of thousands across the World had participated at the coordinated global day of action, includes Paris (10,000) Los Angles (2,000- 5,000), London, Ireland, Berlin and several other cities, with some White, African American and Latino alliens came to support. In China, thousands of people in Chinese several cities had staged protest against French's Carrefour superstore chain.

Here's another false dichotomy;
either we support the actions of China in Tibet and are not called "racist americans" by angry pro-China protesters,
OR
we support (or ignore) the effects of CIA involvement in the "Free Tibet" movement and denounce China's actions in Tibet.
This is another ideological trap created by the false dichotomy of left vs. right, capitalist vs. communist, China vs. Tibet, etc.. and only serves to further escalate and divide people..
How are the rights of the people of Tibet addressed (regardless of the previous centuries of imperial China's earlier occupations of Tibet) without enabling the U.S. CIA to use this unjust occupation by China of Tibet's lands to their advantage. We cannot actually beleive that the CIA is helping the people of Tibet, like the CIA helped the Taliban in Afganistan against the invasion by the Soviet Union? Neither the Soviet Union nor the CIA funded Taliban were good influences for the Afgani people, though the presence of two opposing bully empires (U.S. vs U.S.S.R.) caused a great deal of damage to the less powerful Afgan people..
What are the claims that China makes to justify their ongoing occupation of Tibet other than "Tibet belonged to China even before the U.S. existed." and "The U.S. government engages in far worse acts of political terrorism and thus nobody who is a citizen of the U.S. has the moral right to complain about what China does in Tibet?"
Some simple phrases apply here;
Two wrongs do not make a right.
My enemy's enemy is still NOT my friend.
How about this, if there are certain U.S. corporations (Wal-mart, etc..) profiting from virtual sweatshop slave labor in China and BOTH of our governments (U.S./China) are encouraged by this trade relationship, protesters expose, protest and boicott all the plastic junk coming here from China being sold at Wal-mart stores. We will not interfere with China's Olympics, but we certainly won't feel obligated to buy any more petroleum derived plastic crap from Chinese sweatshops sold at Wal-mart stores. No mob of pro-China sympathizer thugs or other scare tactics will result in silencing a legitimate critique of China's actions in Tibet AND actions taken by the CIA in Tibet to further escalate tensions. We will continue to critique the numerous illegal and unethical actions taken by the U.S. government throughout the world, including CIA escalation tactics in Darfur/Sudan..
When U.S. corporate media uses deceit about US/Israeli support of Darfurians against the Sudanese government funded by China, we get a one-sided story based upon ignorance of underlying issues, especially petroulem reserves in Darfur that BOTH the U.S. and China want control over, and BOTH are willing to arm one tribe (Darfurians vs. Janjaweed) against the other as food and water resouces dwindle and tensions come to the surface. This is an engineered conflict taking place between the U.S./Israeli intelligence operatives (supporting Darfurians) and the Chinese support of the Sudanese government in Khartoum (supporting Janjaweed), and what people in the U.S. hear about is one-sided and neglects to mention important info, such as U.S./Israeli trainings and weapons support of the Darfurians is escalating the conflicts and worsening tensions..
Exposing the CIA involvement in Tibet is crucial to understand how other actions taken by the CIA (like helping the Kurds against Saddam, then pulling out and leaving the Kurds at the mercy of Saddam's army) that pretend to help an oppressed group yet do so only when politically expedient, giving a horrible reality to the term "fair weather friend", as when it is no longer in the interest of the U.S., the support is pulled out. This is a likely scenario with Tibet as when the CIA is ordered to patch up trade relations with China, they will abandon the Tibetan people faster than you can say "Saddam killed Kurds left unprotected by U.S..". With regards to the current U.S. occupation of Iraq, the greater "prize" is the petroleum privatization act that makes an indefinite occupation seem likely. .
Then we have the reprecussions against the Tibetan people from China when the CIA withdraws their support, and the U.S. looking the other way as they did when Saddam became our ally against the Ayatollah in Iran. While Saddam killed thousands of Kurds with U.S. made weapons, special envoy Donald Rumsfeld (1984) was willing to shake his hand and offer him more weapons, so long as he attacked Iran with them as well. The label of "genocide" against the Kurds only became audible when Saddam tried to switch currencies to the Euro and further devalue the U.S. dollar in the petroleum markets..
To sum up; The reality of the CIA trying to "help" the "Free Tibet" protesters doesn't make China's occupation of Tibet any more or less legitimate than any other illegal and unjust occupation (U.S. of Iraq, Israel of Palestine, Britain of Ireland, etc..), it only further complicates the situation and discredits any legitimate attempts at peaceful relations and encouraging a peaceful withdrawal of China's military from Tibet..

Hello, can someone who can type Mandarin forward this to Mandarin-speaking forums. Sarkozy's attempt to beat around the bush and invite the victim of attack should be challenged by sending an invitation to him to come to Beijing for the Olympics and talk to the victim in Beijing during his visit, and not ask her to come to France (for what? another attack?). Thanks.
For you who have been sleepwalking the aisles of WallMart, The Chi Comm liberators who invaded conquered and annexed Tibet (like the USA did the Phillipines) have now taked Nepal through their Maoist "Insurgency" (invasion) are illegally occupying part of Kashmir, are agitating to destabilize India. They freely support fascist war criminal regimes in Myanmar and Sudan. In short, The ChiComms are the new USA in the world, destabilizing countries, murdering peasants, illegally occupying sovereign countries and generally being the Big Bully everywhere we do not. While the US and its citizens are not clean handed, the ChiComms are our new Brothers in world domination and the Senial of self determination to peoples.
those of you who watches the torch spectacle and did not notice the obvious orchestration of "comment" on the web, the large identical ChiComm flags in large numbers issues to well organized groups of hate speech clones, the parallels to the Nazi "Public demonstrations and old Soviet arranged displays are clear. Will you sit tight, drowning in hubris and poison pet food while your "public opinion" is manipulated by the crude but effective Chinese Government operatives and their lying, spying immigrants living among us?
Do any of you read any international news source? Are you brain dead to swallow the ChiComm propaganda whole without gagging.
PS, The Peoples Republic of China will soon need to drop the People's and Republic from its name, as they are rapidly becoming just another, resource grabbing fascist state. Like the Nazi's and the Corporate State of the USA.
We are fucked.
