Berkeley Copwatch presents...
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND COPWATCHING TRAINING WEEK!!!
How do you know if you're being detained?
When do you have the right to refuse a search of your belongings? of your car?
What does it mean to observe the police?
How effective is Copwatching?
Join Berkeley Copwatch for a free hands-on training to learn about your basic rights with the police as well as how to effectively observe police interactions.
After each training, Berkeley Copwatch will go on a Copwatching shift so you can put your new skills to use! (shift is not required to attend training)
Then join us on Friday evening for a screening and discussion of the Copwatch film "These Streets are Watching!"
