Allegations of "Elitism" Also Brought Down America's Founding Fathers

Smears of "elitism," such as those now made against Barack Obama, are almost as old as the United States itself. Moreover, one can argue that such smears go far to explain why the United States has never achieved the goals set by the Founding Fathers
