Palestinian Sami Awad and Jewish American Bekah Wolf will discuss strategies for peace. Sami Awad has been involved in the Palestinian peace movement for more than a decade and has established nonviolence, conflict resolution and youth service traning programs throughout the region. Mr Awad is the Director of The Holy Land Trust-Palestine, which focuses on improving lives through community development, promoting peace and reconciliation, and creating the means for economic sustainability. Bekah Wolf is a Jewish-American Graduate of NYU and has a Masters Degree in Education. Bekah has been doing solidarity work in the Occupied Palestinian Territories since 2003 and co-founded the Palestine Solidarity Project, a Palestinian organization that incorporates international volunteers in proactive nonviolent resistance to the Israeli occupation and economic self-sufficency projects in the southern West Bank. She lives in Beit Ommar, a Palestinian village in the Hebron District where ths PSP is based.
