Help Stop U.S. "Reality" Show about Ringling Brothers Circus!
Use your power to stop TNT from producing a "reality" show about Ringling Brothers Circus!
Cable station Turner Network Television (TNT) has announced plans to produce a reality show titled "The Greatest Show On Earth" and will feature known animal abusers Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
This "reality" show – essentially an hour-long commercial for Ringling Brothers – will certainly not feature the reality of what animals in traveling circuses endure. The truth is so disguised that it has been exposed to the public only through intense undercover investigations. Viewers surely won't see the behind-the-scenes abuse of elephants, tigers, horses and other animals.
Please contact Turner Entertainment Networks president Steve Koonin, the Wolper Organization president Mark Wolper, and executive producer Al Hassas and urge them to abandon plans for the Ringling Brothers reality show, "The Greatest Show on Earth."
Remind them that, after learning of the abuse inherent in animal circuses, major corporations like Denny's, General Mills, Burger King, Liz Claiborne, MasterCard and Visa have stopped promoting circuses like Ringling Brothers and UniverSoul.
