The media has made much of the recent elections in Zimbabwe. As we await the results, tensions are building in the country and internationally. Speculations on the future of the country range from hopeful to bleak.

We invite you to an open community dialogue to hear the history of this nation in Southern Africa, facts of the recent elections, views on President Robert Mugabe, the ruling party of ZANU-PF and the opposition MDC, and broader analysis of the political reality and future of the Zimbabwe.

Opening presentation by Phillip Machingura
founding member of Priority Africa Network and a native of Zimbabwe

Moderated by Nesbit Cruchfield
