More than two-hundred people were arrested Wednesday in dozens of protests nationwide to mark the fifth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. People took to the streets from San Francisco to New York to voice their opposition to the ongoing US occupation.

Ayad Al-Qazzaz is a professor of sociology at California State University, Sacramento. He was born in Iraq and immigrated to the United States in the 1960s. He joins us from Sacramento.
