A Free Skool Santa Cruz class:

On March 15th, a cadre of facilitators will follow a teach-in/training model, confronting our own feelings about race and asking questions like Who can we be more effective allies? What do words like guilt, privilege, ally, and identity mean to you?

We'll build towards an ongoing and less formal discussion group, meeting in April and May (dates TBD by participants) and beyond, exploring what anti-racism means to each of us in this community, supporting each other in confronting racism each and every day.

All are welcome, but the discussion will be focused towards the experiences of white-skinned people. Bring a book to suggest, a film to share, and a readiness to confront the racism within and in the communities we inhabit.
