I was really puzzled about Joseph Wanzala's praise for Sherry Gendelman on today's show . I have never voted for Gendelman . I know she was involved in fighting the ''highjackers'' in 1999 but i always thought that was a political accident ! Sherry has a lot more in common with the highjackers in terms of their authoratarian outlook on politics than real differences . I think that they (the highjackers ) simply were too greedy and pushed Gendelman, Bensky and Siegel too far , thus resulting in Gendelman et al being forced to oppose them .
I always have had the opposite opinion about Joseph . I have always voted for him and was dissappointed when he lost the last election , only moving back on the board after the mysterious resignation of Richard Phelps .
In view of this i'm puzzled why he would say she did a ''great job'' chairing the PNB and how she will lead Pacifica forward !
What's up with all this ?

Yes, and he also praised Dan Siegel. Why?

Can we not have that boring program again. What a narcissistic load of garbage that was. I want to hear good programs on KPFA not all this mind-numbing process stuff. Who but the most obsessed process geek is interested in the byzantine governing structure of the station.
