*The KPFA LSB Radio Show will be aired this Monday at its regular time of 1-2 pm PST.
Guests and topics for discussion include:
1. LSB report including status of GM search/hire, new LSB/PNB officers, KPFA fund drive
Chandra Hauptman;
2. PNB report including directors' inspections, status of Nicole Sawaya, Pacifica finances
Joe Wanzala;
3. What should be discussed in Exec Session and what can be reported out
Gregory Wonderwheel;
4. Unpaid Staff Organization- de-recognition status
Shahram Aghamir and Lemlem Rijjio (confirmation pending)
5. Call-ins from the audience
I look forward to hearing from those who do not regularly call in and request that all callers be polite and respectful towards all of the guests.

The entry on the KPFA site says only 2 pm, but not the day!
I think it occurs in the first week of the month.

1111 Addison Street in Berkeley.
Start time is 11am, end time is 4pm

The People's Voice: A Forum for Self-Determination - Live Town Hall Broadcast on KPFA
March 14th - 5:00pm
"Please mark your calendars on March 14th for a very special collaborative broadcast on 94.1FM - live from the East Side Arts Alliance in Fruitvale from 5-6pm and then from 7-10pm.
Interactive discussion on community expression, new technology and economics and the future of the Pacifica network.
Participants include the First Voice Apprenticeship Program, The Block Report Radio, Flashpoints, APEX Express, La Onda Bajita, the San Francisco Bayview Newspaper, The KPFA Unpaid Staff Organization (currently still derecognized), Media Alliance .... and you."
* Fair Elections Committee public forum: The Current Crisis at KPFA/Pacifica
It is being planned for a weekend shortly after the above staff forum. It will include staff and listeners and will cover many current issues mentioned above, plus the last LSB elections.
We will let you know the time and venue as soon as we can.
