Things are beginning to happen in terms of
the organizing
to save rent control
(No on 98!).
There will be hopefully
[anti-]98
fundraisers to
defeat the
measure.

is producing videos for youtube

that look at the
effects,
on real people,
of losing rent control .

committees are working on
literature, outreach, etc.

Meanwhile, does anyone want to coordinate our
outreach
effort in the
Castro?
Basically,
it would involve setting up an ironing board with
literature every
Saturday
and talking
to people as they go by?
We will have literature soon,
so tabling
probably won't begin
until mid-March.
Let me know if anyone wants to
coordinate this effort.
