CDLAC State Funds wasted by Apartment Investment Management Company (AIMCO) in SF.
California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) has plenty of money to waste. In the Bayview this committee CDLAC handed over $73 million on a platter to waste. AIMCO that once was fined by the City and County of San Francisco $3 million - was supported by the District 10 Supervisor and others including Mayor Gavin Newsom. AIMCO contracted the rehabilitation work to Fortney and Weygandt and the rest is history. They wasted over $73 million of California State Bond money.
Apartment Investment Management Company (AIMCO) has a very bad track record - but for some strange reason District 10 Supervisor supports AIMCO. So, do a number of corrupt Supervisors - Aaron Peskin and Bevan Dufty.
Some months ago - some of us were at the SF Board of Supervisors meeting and learned that Sophina Maxwell without sending the AIMCO matter to committee - decide to support AIMCO to file and receive over $73 million of State Bond money - to rehab three large complexes Shoreview, All Hallows, and La Salle.
She passed a Resolution not to hold AIMCO accountable - what type of legislation is that?
Why do we laywomen and men have to monitor the corrupt - Sophina Maxwell?
The rehabilitation project has been a mess. Local Union 22 the Carpenters Union has played a role in fleecing decent Latino and African American workers.
Many decent Latino and African American workers have been adversely affected so this day.
A Class Action suit has been filed and we hope JUSTICE prevails. I will talk about this today on KAPOO at 1 pm - FM 89.5
The SF District Attorney has an on going case - that is taking forever - but there have been over 22 indictments.
One Bill Wong from the Local 22 has been given early retirement - but, he is still being investigated and will be brought to trial. At the moment - this scumbag is seeking a job with the City and County of San Francisco.
CityBuild has been involved with the AIMCO failed project hiring facilitators that are despicable the likes of Jesse Mason.
CityBuild has not delivered on such projects and the AIMCO project is a glaring example. CityBuild itself has wasted millions and one Rhonda Simmons.
The State of California should investigate the AIMCO rehabilitation and the waste of California State Bond money - on a priority basis.
One worker has been shot and killed on the AIMCO project in the Bayview and here in San Francisco. Not a word from the Main Press - I mean through investigative reporting.
There will be a hearing on the AIMCO fiasco - February 28, 2008 in Room 263 at 1 pm.
There will be a California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) hearing - that will be held in Sacramento on February 27, 2008 at 1 p.m. Some of us will be there and will put the scumbags on notice.
It is a shame that California tax payers are being hoodwinked by forces like Sophie Maxwell and crooks the likes of Keith Jackson, Linda Richardson, Gary Banks that went all the way to Sacramento - some months ago - where I saw them - before the CDLAC - to vouch for these State Bond money and AIMCO.
Each of the corrupt jokers mentioned above were paid in thousands and acted as consultants. Some do not live in the community.
We need full Accountability and Transparency and we need it now.
I am requesting the Governor and the State Attorney General to follow up on this case and bring about a quick adjudication.
There are some very corrupt forces behind the $73 million State Bond money that has been wasted.
