Dine for a Change
Dine for a Change, happening on April 3rd, 2008, is a chance for you to dine out for a good cause! Support our local restaurants and know that your participation is helping to support an organization that exists for the community. San Francisco Women Against Rape is the only rape crisis center in the city. We believe that the entire community has a responsibility to end sexual assault. By building partnerships with local businesses, we help raise awareness about rape and help to end sexual violence.
Would you like to be part of a city wide movement to end sexual assault? Participating is easy!
San Francisco Women Against Rape (SFWAR) invites you to dine at one of the many and diverse restaurants participating in Dine for a Change on April 3rd, 2008!
Dine for a Change is a great way for restaurants to gain new patrons and customers, raise visibility for their business and contribute to the well-being of the community by taking a stand against sexual violence. Participating in Dine for a Change is a good way for individuals to support our local businesses and help bring awareness to the problem of rape and sexual assault.
SFWAR is asking our donors as well as the public-at-large to patronize participating restaurants on April 3rd, 2008. In turn, we ask participating restaurants to donate 15%-40% of total food and beverage sales to SFWAR on that day.
Get your friends together for a fun dining experience while supporting a good cause! Tell your favorite restaurant about the opportunity to support the community! Help us spread the word!
