Redwood Curtain A.F.A. Confronts Neo-Nazi in Arcata

by BILLY GOAT
REDWOOD CURTAIN A.F.A. CONFRONTS NEO-NAZI IN ARCATA
A.F.A. MEMBER A AND B WERE WALKING TOWARDS CAMPUS WHEN THEY PASSED SMUG'S PIZZERIA. THERE STANDING AT THE FRONT DOOR AWAITING A PIZZA, A YOUNG MAN WITH A TALL TRAVELLING BAG WITH A SLEEPING BAG ATTACHED, GUITAR IN ONE HAND, AND DOG'S LEASH IN THE OTHER, SPORTED FOUR NEO-NAZI SYMBOLS. HIS JACKET WAS ALL BLACK BUT PAINTED IN WHITE ALONG HIS JACKET SLEEVE WAS A NORDIC CROSS

2901.gif

. OUTSIDE HIS POCKET WAS A RUNIC SYMBOL

odin_rune_heavy.gif

He also wore a 14/88 on his jacket collar. When first initially asked about the symbols he responded with" dont worry about it." A.F.A. members A and B aqcuired member C and then reconfronted the bearer of the symbols. When the symbols were indentified to him, he responded with "you dont know what you're talking about." The interaction was non-violent, and AFA informed the young man and his group that the idea's behind those symbols are not to be tolerated by the community.

REDWOOD CURTAIN A.F.A. SPOTS TWO PECKERWOODS IN ARCATA(JAN 30TH) Also: Just outside the Taco Truck, LA CHIQUITA(across from the works/free clinic/tin can mail man), hate symbols and an anti-immigration were spray painted along the wooden wall. On the sidewalk in front of the Tin Man there's a yellow spray painted swastika. AFA member D and J were walking from the co-op towards the hole in the wall sandwich place when, heading the opposite direction, two peckerwoods, both whom were shirtless, strided towards the co-op kiosk flashing their hate oreiented tattoo's. Both were wearing blue jeans and both seemed completely comfortable although the weather as we know in Arcata, is COLD! Watch for these two, and other fascist sympathizers. Due to lack of support in such a short amount of time, we were unable to confront the peckerwoods.

The hate symbols are two Runic symbols used by pagan neo-nazi's or believers of Aryan/Nordic racial superiority. The other below it is a W with a crown and a halo around it. This symbol is the Seal of the World Church of the Creator, a Fascist organization of militant neo-nazi's in the United States. The message says "Immigration Laws Nurture Invaders"

by ADL neo-liberals also over-react
So the author of this piece is attempting to link several seperate events to creat a "neo-Nazi" scare in Arcata, (your biggest actual fascist Nazi threat comes from MAXXAM corporation and their CEO Hurwitz [fellow Skull and Bonesman with none other than GW Bush himself!] who is a pro-Zionist Jew!) even though the first symbol is only classified as a hate symbol by the notorious "hate group watchers" in the ADL and the SPLC. Remind yourself that both Zionist Jews and Nazis collaborated prior to WW2 into sending non-Zionist Jews, Gypsies (Sinti-Roma in PC terms) and anti-Nazi Germans (Communists, gays, asocials, etc..) into the Nazi death camps, so Zionist Jews are not to be trusted either..

Here we need to examine the motives of the ADL, Morris Dees of the SPLC when declaring pagan symbols as "hate-based". According to the SPLC, the Nation of Islam is also a hate group because they choose "black" (African-american) seperatism over forced integration with "whites" (Euro-americans). There already exist small villages of African-american seperatists in the U.S. state of Georgia, though they are unaffiliated with the NOI. They grow their own food and exist independent of the greater U.S. empire, and for this these African seperatists experience constant infiltration and disruption tactics from the FBI and other "pro-integration" watchdog groups for succeeding in their seperatist stance. Why can't the people who choose integration have their space to integrate and the people like NOI who prefer voluntary (not forced segregation apartheid walls as Israel builds around occupied Palestine) seperatism have their space unmolested by watchdog groups like the SPLC??

Both the ADL and SPLC groups have allied themselves with pro-Israeli pro-apartheid Zionists and are not to be trusted as "hate group monitors" as they themselves support the hate based apartheid government of Israel and by proxy, the United States empire. It is exactly the actions of these watchdog groups that have me supporting the Nation of Islam (NOI) and many other seperatist groups (Nuevo Aztlan, Aryan Brotherhood, Black Israelites, etc..) who seek complete secession from the U.S. empire (or Zionist Occupation Government, Z.O.G.) in their own terms. At least they are honest about their intent, unlike the devious nature of the neo-liberals (Hillary/Obama/Kerry/etc..) and neo-conservatives (Bush/Cheney/Romney/McCain/etc..) who currently run this ZOG empire. The only two candidates who would have given us a chance of real change (Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul) are considered as un-electable by their own parties..

People have the right to tatoo themselves with whatever symbols they choose. The civil liberties of the personal body space is untouchable by ADL "watchdog" groups and other crypto-fascist entities. Some of these tatooes are initially from coercion into "white power" prison gangs for protection (what choice do people have there? all true power is found in the clubs and tasers of the prison guards), and many of the people once released then retain their tatooes. For middle class anarchists and leftists, this concept may be difficult to grasp, for Euro-american working class folks on the other hand, that is their method of survival behind prison gates. Within the prison system, segregation is the norm, as the Surenos and Nortenos and the black/white race based gangs are all under enforced segregation. This is very different from voluntary seperatism as practiced by NOI, Aztlan, AB, Black Israelites, etc.. who seek to divide the U.S. into several distinct cultural regions; Pac SW (Nuevo Aztlan, Mexican/Native American Indian) Pac NW (Cascadia, Aryan/N.A. Indian) Atlantic SE (New Africa, NOI/Africa/N.A. Indian) and the Midwest (Lakota, Plains Indians). Asian peoples overall seem adaptable to all these regions and most likely would fit in nearest the Pacific states, as that is closest to Asia in geographical proximity. The Atlantic northeast can be left for the people who wish to maintain a forced integration system within the parameters of the U.S. empires system of what they call "democracy"..

There are also climate preferences based on skin tone and complextion, based upon country and land of origin. Just like an Alaskan polar bear would experience discomfort if relocated to the equatorial Africa, and an African lion would experience discomfort if relocated to Alaska, people have evolved their skin tone and complextion as adaptations to specific climates, and this is taken into consideration by the NOI, AB, Aztlan and others when choosing this seperatist map of seccession based on "race". Another way of looking at it, would an Inuit from Alaska feel comfortable in the desert southwest with the Navajo, or vice versa? That is EXACTLY what the U.S. government did over the last few centuries by forced removal and relocation of Native American Indians to reservations far from their traditional homeland..

Neo-liberal groups will try to downplay the Aztlan movement and claim it is made up my neo-Nazis as a scare tactic, even though the AB leadership recognizes the possibility of an independent Aztlan in the Southwestern U.S. for people of Mexican and Native American ancestry as a vital component in their own struggle for a seperatist Aryan/Indian nation in the Pacific Northwest. What is so scary about this idea anyway, about the Mexican/N.A. Indians having the southwestern states as in independent nation called Aztlan for themselves? Maybe the neo-liberals who demand forced integration and perpetual slavery of Mexicans within the U.S. empire are the real racists? After all, the election of either neo-liberals Obama or Hillary only represent a changing of the guard, or shift change from neo-conservative to neo-liberal in the U.S. prison camp we all share..

Furthermore, the Celtic cross, Odin's circle and runes were never intended to be racist in and of themselves and they reflect an interest in pagan traditions. That certain racist groups have attempted to claim these pagan symbols as their own (as Hitler did with the ancient swastika), they were never originally intended as racist. Ironically, both the swastika and the "odin's cross" symbol are found in indigenous Native American cultures independent of the European pagan religion. That these relatively simple designs evolved independant of one another on two seperate continents should be a cause for unity, not divisiveness. Though the author claims to be an anti-fascist, their intrusion into this person's space and telling him to leave town because he wears an Odin's cross and a pagan rune is a form of authoritarianism in itself. Not so long ago the Holy Christians of the Holy Roman Empire put pagan people up on the stake and burned them alive for wearing such pagan symbols in the open..

There is no evidence as to who wrote the phrase "immigration law nurtures invaders", though if looked at from the perspective of pre-Columbus Native Americans this statement cannot be considered false. The entire settling of the west was organized and supported by the U.S. government and military, pushing the indigenous Native American "Indians" onto reservations so the Euro-american settlers could have their mining corporations, cattle ranches and other intrusions..

That this current graffiti appears directed at the Mexican taco truck in Arcata is another matter entirely, though in this case is not so accurate. The primary purpose of the U.S. government supporting immigration from Mexico is to enhance the labor force of low wage virtual slave labor. This cannot be considered nurturing, though there exists a dysfunctional co-dependency between displaced Mexican immigrants and the corporations that rely on their virtual slave labor. Only neo-liberals (Obama, Hillary, etc..) and neo-cons (Bush, Romney, Huckabee, etc..) who support NAFTA and the WTO would deny that this is the case. Agribusiness, meatpacking and other undesirable corporations depend on the low wage labor provided by Mexicans and others from Central/South America, so to claim that the U.S. government is set against immigration would be a fallacy, depsite the GW Bush regime's plans to build a border fence (that they know will be ineffective anyway). Specifically undocumented immigrants form an easy class of exploitable populations left in limbo from ever returning to a stable home in either Mexico or el norte. Do the Zapatistas of Chiapas and Oaxaca really feel that everyone in Mexico migrating to el norte once displaced from their land by NAFTA/WTO to work as virtual slaves for U.S. corporations is desireable when viewed from their battle to maintain the integrity of their Lacandon rainforest against the incursions of U.S. corporations (biotech, logging, mining, etc..)? Wouldn't they prefer additional support from their people instead of the run for the border mentality currently encouraged by pro-NAFTA Felipe Calderon and other Mexican government officials? The indigenous peoples of Mexico would be best off if they collectively stormed the capitol in Mexico City, D.F.and evicted all the political elites (traitors one and all) and deported them to Spain, along with the helmet and armor of Cortez. That the GW Bush regime is against immigration is another fallacy, after all, what would the corporations do without all the slave labor coming in fresh daily from Mexico?

It is said that if all the Mexicans in the U.S. quit their jobs in one week and all returned home to Mexico, the entire U.S. economy would teeter on the brink of collapse. That to me is joyous news, and after witnessing the Mayday rallies when several thousand Mexicans walked out in protest, it is also evident. So why not have another massive walkout for Marchday, Aprilday, Mayday, Juneday, etc.. until the corporations that profit from slave labor are rendered non-exsistant? What would the corporations do then, fire all the Mexican workers for walking out? Plenty of room for numerous south central campesino farms once the corporations cease to exis!!?

If the Aryan Brotherhood and other seperatist groups really want to fight the U.S. ZOG empire and maintain their seperatist platform, why not try to work in cohesiveness (not together, just in timing) with future Mexican walkouts and try to trigger collapse from within? What about forming an alliance with Al-Queda and giving them some support from within? Why not kidnap some corporate CEOs and use the ransom money to print their seperatist literature and get media attention? There are many other options besides silly graffitti messages on fences near taco trucks for those who truly want to break away from the U.S. system of empire..

So instead of choosing the path of authoritarian cowardice and censoring this post as "hate speech", as i have not insulted anyone, if the author of above photo essay is truly an anti-fascist as they claim, why not attempt a dialogue and try to prove my points advocating seccesion and seperatism wrong?

OR

People can hope this idea of seperatism goes away and we all become one happy family of integrated imperialists united under the flag of U.S. monocultura. Well, Al-Queda exists for the sole purpose that this does NOT happen, so ignoring this will only make the eventual conflict worsen. When the collective groups of seperatists wage physical war against the U.S. government from within, Al-Queda will be our greatest ally..

Allah akbar!!
by Geo-Class struggle unity against U.S. empire
Maybe we're all missing the point of how the U.S. imperialists have frequently taken the appearance of the "centrist" position of free market capitalism in an integrated society and then watched the "left" and the "right" and various ethnic groups fight one another until they collectively run out of energy to significantly challenge the imperialists and the corporations themselves..

Class struggle from an anarchist and leftist perspective seeks to overcome the economic differences, though we can't even seem to unify as a single "class". After all, people of different economic levels either identify with those closest to them in economic status and/or ethnic and cultural status. To get everyone from the prison inmates to the homeless to the students to the workers all on the same page in unified struggle against the upper elite class of politician rulers and corporate executives isn't easy..

The secessionist movements, separatist and otherwise, seek to address the inequalities of class under current capitalist structures by unification based on geographics, not specifically on class or race. If certain areas have a predominant ethnic group, it makes sense for them to rally around and support one another based upon their shared characteristic, as they will not all be in the same economic strata for that region..

Though it is important to be aware of one's surroundings in every community, we need to watch ourselves when tempted to jump to conclusions about others based upon abstract symbols like pagan tatooes. Especially when the entities like ADL, SPLC, etc.. who list pagan tatooes as symbolic of "Hate groups" are themselves engaged in some questionable labeling practices of animal rights activists..

This earlier article in EF! Journal details the growing collaboration between U.S. Government Dept. Homeland Security and the ADL/SPLC when monitoring and labeling animal rights and anti-free trade activists;

"Extreme Confusion
Why Do Civil Rights Watchdog Groups Care About the Earth Liberation Front?"

By Josh

"When federal prosecutors recently likened the Operation Backfire defendants to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), lawyers for the defense were quick to register their shock and disgust. Daniel McGowan’s attorney, Amanda Lee, appropriately condemned the comparison as “appalling,” “historically inaccurate” and “an insult to African-Americans.”

Although many animal rights and environmental activists seem startled by the prosecution’s analogy, it is merely the most visible and recent example of a growing tendency to conflate the Earth and animal liberation movements with racist hate groups. What’s most disturbing is that among the parties responsible for this trend are two of the nation’s largest and most prominent civil rights watchdog groups: the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

How did these organizations—which were founded with the express purpose of combating anti-Semitism and white supremacy, and which have enjoyed the strong support of liberals and progressives for decades—develop such a keen interest in the Earth and animal liberation movements? The answer lies in a disappointing, disturbing and largely unknown history of neoconservative political agendas, adherence to a centrist/extremist model of society, unethical and illegal intelligence-gathering activities, cooperation with law enforcement, poor journalism and fear-mongering.

The Anti-Defamation League

Founded in 1913, the ADL’s original mission of combating anti-Semitic slander and libel quickly expanded to include civil rights advocacy. During the 1930s, the ADL initiated the practice for which it has become best known: the monitoring of racist and fascist groups through research and covert intelligence gathering.

Previously a somewhat liberal organization, the ADL began to undergo a marked shift toward a neoconservative political orientation during the 1970s, which resulted in new alliances with the religious and political right, as well as increased cooperation with law enforcement. Additionally, the ADL adopted centrist/extremist theory, a neoconservative social model that clumps together all dissidents from the political right and left—regardless of their diverse and often conflicting agendas—and dismisses them as psychologically unstable people deserving of marginalization and imprisonment.

The disturbing results of the ADL’s blind commitment to centrist/extremist theory came to light in 1993, when a police investigation revealed that the ADL had assembled (perhaps illegally) files on thousands of Arab-American, anti-war, anti-apartheid, civil rights, environmental, labor and social justice groups, including ACT UP, the American Civil Liberties Union, the American Indian Movement, Food Not Bombs, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Greenpeace and the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Although criminal charges were (miraculously) never filed, the scandal harmed the ADL’s reputation and drew attention to its increasingly reactionary and paranoid suspicion of progressives and radicals.

Given this troubling history, it is not at all surprising that the “Extremism in America” section of the ADL’s website currently lists “ecoterrorism” alongside racist and fascist groups like the KKK, the National Socialist Movement and the World Church of the Creator. Moreover, the ADL’s profiles of Earth First!, the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC) are littered with unqualified references to “terrorism” and “extremism,” as well as assurances that these nonviolent movements will inevitably (and intentionally) begin taking lives.

The examples that the ADL offers to confirm this charge are problematic at best and deliberately misleading at worst. For instance, the ADL states that in 1999, “a British reporter who had infiltrated the ALF the year before with a hidden camera… was abducted by a number of men. They branded the letters ‘ALF’ on his back.”

What the ADL doesn’t say is that, according to the British magazine Green Anarchist, this reporter had made similar claims before, like when he said that he’d been kidnapped and shot in the leg by EF!ers. The idea that two separate movements employed new, unprecedented and never-repeated tactics of kidnapping and torture against the same person is simply too far-fetched to be true. Apparently, the police found Hall’s story unconvincing and promptly abandoned their criminal investigation. In treating this highly suspicious incident as proven fact, the ADL has failed to uphold its mission of assembling “accurate, detailed, unassailable information” and disseminating its findings through responsible and ethical journalism.

The Southern Poverty Law Center

The SPLC has followed a similar path from legitimate anti-racist work to the demonization of radical dissent. The SPLC was founded by Morris Dees and Joe Levin in 1971, as a small law firm focusing on civil rights cases. During the 1980s, the SPLC was catapulted into the national spotlight by a series of legal victories that bankrupted KKK and neo-Nazi groups. It quickly became one of the most visible and best funded anti-racist watchdog groups in the US.

Like the ADL, the SPLC has attracted significant controversy. In 2000, Harper’s Magazine published an article by Ken Silverstein—the magazine’s award-winning Washington Editor—alleging that the SPLC greatly overstates the threat posed by hate groups in order to raise more money.

“In 1986,” Silverstein wrote, “the SPLC’s entire legal staff quit in protest of Dees’ refusal to address issues—such as homelessness, voter registration and affirmative action—that they considered far more pertinent to poor minorities, if far less marketable to affluent benefactors, than fighting the KKK.”

Another similarity to the ADL is the SPLC’s Intelligence Project, which gathers information on a variety of “extremist” groups and publishes its findings in the quarterly Intelligence Report. While typically focused on white supremacists, the Report began covering the anti-globalization, animal rights and radical environmental movements following the 1999 World Trade Organization (WTO) protests in Seattle, Washington. Although the Report has generally avoided the “ecoterrorism” label in favor of “ecoradicalism,” it has undermined this sober restraint through a campaign of innuendo, conjecture, misinformation and fear-mongering that makes the ADL look amateurish by comparison.

In the Winter 2000 edition of the Report, for example, the SPLC concluded that the WTO protests signaled a coming alliance between right-wing and left-wing
opponents of globalization, including neo-Nazis, the Nation of Islam and Earth First!. This charge was repeated in the Summer 2001 Report, which flung numerous outlandish accusations at the ELF in the hope that one might stick. The SPLC charged that “the ELF’s use of underground violence strongly resembles ex-Klansman Louis Beam’s concept of ‘leaderless resistance,’” as if this shared organizational structure is proof of a common racist ideology. Never mind the fact that leaderless resistance was actually developed by a US intelligence officer as a strategy for combating communist “extremists.”

The same Report also stated that “the ELF recently set this year’s ‘International Day of Action’ for April 19—a mythic date for the anti-government right. It was that day in 1993, when about 80 Branch Davidian cult members died in a fire in Waco, Texas…. It is also the day that Timothy McVeigh blew up a federal building in Oklahoma City in 1995, killing 168.” The Report ignored that the ELF chose the date for its proximity to Earth Day (April 22, 2001), and it did not even consider the possibility that the relation to Waco and Oklahoma City was a coincidence. Maybe the ELF picked April 19 because it’s the anniversary of the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising—a significant event in the history of Jewish liberation and the fight against fascism. This explanation is as likely as any other.

Dozens of similar articles in the Intelligence Report make it clear that the SPLC advances conjecture as fact and coincidence as conspiracy, while excluding any information that might undermine its desired conclusion that the ELF is on the verge of allying itself with violent racists.

Disturbing Implications

If the ADL and the SPLC were small organizations on the margins of popular discourse and public policy, there would be little need for concern. However, both groups are large, particularly the ADL, which has 30 regional and three international offices. The ADL and the SPLC are also incredibly well-funded, with total annual revenues of more than $50 million and $30 million, respectively. Finally, and perhaps most disturbingly, both organizations enjoy significant influence with politicians, law enforcement and the public at large.

In 2002, a US congressional questionnaire sent to former ELF spokesperson Craig Rosebraugh quoted the SPLC’s charges of a growing alliance between the ELF and the racist, fascist right. It then asked, “How do you feel about the ELF being compared to the KKK? Is this an accurate comparison? Do you feel a kinship of cause with ‘racists and fascists,’ as the SPLC contends?” (For the record, Rosebraugh brusquely answered, “A) That is ridiculous and insulting. I would expect the SPLC to have more intelligence than that. B) No. C) No.”) These and other absurd allegations are frequently adopted as fact by lawmakers and law enforcement, resulting in policies and investigations based on ADL and SPLC propaganda. It is entirely possible—even likely—that the federal prosecution’s recent comparison of the ELF to the KKK was inspired by these organizations’ reports.

Additionally, there is evidence to suggest that both the ADL and the SPLC have a history of conducting covert investigations using surveillance and infiltration tactics that law enforcement is generally barred from employing without a warrant. The organizations then provide this information to the police and the FBI, effectively circumventing constitutional rights of privacy and assembly. The result is that these private watchdog groups are increasingly complicit in classically fascist systems of government surveillance and control. Apparently, the ADL and the SPLC oppose fascism when it is promoted by private individuals but condone it when practiced by the state, which is precisely when it is most dangerous.

The general public is also susceptible to the assertions of the ADL and the SPLC. Media reports on the Earth and animal liberation movements frequently quote these esteemed watchdog groups, whose statements are uncritically presented as expert commentary. To a populace that knows very little about the radical environmental and animal rights movements, the fact that the ADL and the SPLC are being quoted would seem to imply that there is an anti-Semitic, racist or fascist component to these movements.

By advancing this kind of innuendo, the ADL and the SPLC cheapen oppression and transform it into a kind of rhetorical capital that can be wielded for political gain. By painting the radical environmental and animal rights movements as a bunch of Nordic youths waiting to be Nazified, these organizations effectively marginalize and delegitimize the radical Jews and people of color who are actively working for the liberation of animals and the Earth. Perhaps more than anything, this shows how low the ADL and the SPLC have sunk.

Conclusions

Obviously, the ADL’s and the SPLC’s focus on the Earth and animal liberation movements needs to be challenged, but this must be done carefully. Speaking and writing against the ADL and the SPLC is a delicate undertaking, especially since both organizations are generally perceived as unassailable warriors in the fight against oppression. We must always be clear that our problem is not with combating anti-Semitism, racism and fascism, but with doing so in a manipulative and unethical fashion in order to advance a repressive, neoconservative agenda.

Additionally, we must be careful not to accidentally align ourselves with white supremacists. When researching the dark side of these organizations, pay close attention to what your sources are. Many websites “exposing” the ADL and the SPLC are operated by KKK and neo-Nazi groups. If your source refers to “the Jew Morris Dees” or cites the ADL as part of the “worldwide Jewish conspiracy,” you should look elsewhere for
information.

As a final word of caution, it is my strong belief that direct action must be avoided. Home demonstrations and property damage will not work against the ADL or the SPLC. These organizations’ employees have endured death threats and physical violence from neo-Nazis and the KKK. They won’t be swayed by animal rights and environmental activists. Besides, this kind of approach would prove suicidal from both a law enforcement and public relations perspective. If action is to be taken, it should be restricted to peaceful demonstrations at relevant public events.

Effective opposition to unethical practices of the ADL and the SPLC must necessarily focus on the general public. Both organizations depend upon direct mail fundraising campaigns that tend to target liberals and progressives, who are largely unaware of these organizations’ dirty dealings. Mainstream animal rights and environmental activists, as well as sympathetic liberals and progressives, are likely to respond positively to a reasonable critique of these organizations.

Finally, Jewish animal rights and environmental activists—like myself—who are deeply disturbed by the ADL’s activities should discuss this with family, friends and members of our community. The involvement of a vocal contingent of anti-racist organizers, Jewish activists and activist people of color would go a long way toward legitimizing a challenge of the ADL and the SPLC, and it would help assure that these efforts retain the nuanced and cautious tone that they will require to be successful. Ultimately, exposing the reactionary and repressive nature of the ADL and the SPLC is not just about defending the Earth and animal liberation movements. It is about creating legitimate methods of challenging institutionalized oppression wherever it appears."

Thoughts on secession from U.S. empire;

As mentioned above, several groups have shown interest in preferably non-violent secession from the U.S. system of imperialist capitalism. To group all secessionists as "racial seperatist" would be misleading and inaccurate, as some prefer integration and some don't. There seems to be plenty of space for both integrationists and seperatists in the greater secession movement, provided that nothing is forced upon anyone and no group becomes victimized and/or scapegoated based on ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, etc..

Most of the people scapegoating Mexicans are in the psuedo-patriot (CIA initiated?) movement of Minutemen and S.O.S., the problem with these groups is that they refuse to understand or acknowledge the source of economic inequality is coming from NAFTA/WTO free trade policies that;
1) revokes protective tariffs in Mexico on imported corn
2) allows massive imports of subsidized corn from U.S. agribusiness (Cargill, ADM, ConAgra, etc..)
3) cheap imported U.S. corn drives Mexican farmers out of business and off their landspace
4) recently displaced Mexican farmers journey to el norte to find below minimum wage slavery on U.S. agribusiness plantation, many of which are owned by the same (type of) corporations that drove them off of their land in the first place!!

So, if these source problems (NAFTA/WTO) of economic based undocumented immigration are ignored and silenced by BOTH neo-conservative AND neo-liberal policy makers, and the so-called patriot groups like Minutemen/SOS continue to depend on scapegoating the Mexican migrants themselves, this problem of economic inequality will perpetuate itself into eternity, much to the delight of the corporatiuon that depend on the low wage labor of the Mexican migrants..

Scapegoating the symptom (undocumented immigration) without looking at the source allows this condition to worsen and continue. That is why it appears to this author that most anti-immigrant groups like Minutemen/S.O.S. are manifestations of the CIA/FBI/U.S. Gov intel as they are essentially top down heirachal brainwash camps similar to the racial segregation found in actual prisons..

Racial supremist hate groups are giving a bad name to legitimate secessionist movements based on either seperatism (not superiority) OR integration. To claim Hamas, NOI or other anti-Zionist groups are "hate-based" is also misleading, they simply want an end to the system of apartheid coming from the government that claims to be pro-integration. Just look around you at the ethnic divisions in neighborhoods in the U.S. and wonder how we call ourselves integrated? At least in a seperatist secession movement people can opt out of the inequalities found in our modern system..

What Martin Luther King Jr. asked for was an ending to the inequalites and abuse found under Southern apartheid and segregation enforced by a police state, what he got for his troubles was additional inequality under government controlled forced integration and an assassin's bullet. Malcolm X who preached a slightly different message and was in favor of equality under black nationalist separatism and also got more inequality under integration and another assassin's bullet. Seems like the problem the U.S. Government has is with the concept of equality, not whether people live in separatist or integrated communities..

The concept of an independent African nation in the southeastern U.S. isn't new, people have been discussing this for decades since the assassinations of the two civil rights leaders (Martin and Malcolm) mentioned above. The idea was originally brought up by Marcus Garvey, who suggested the Southern states be independent from the surrounding U.S. and engaged in trade and transit with African nations across the Atlantic and in the Caribbean. The concept was labeled "pan-Africanism" and is considered as "black nationalist" by many moderates..

One recent example of pan-Africanism and self-determination can be found at Muhammad Farms, an independent African-american owned and operated farming co-op located in Georgia. Not only does Muhammad Farms favor separatism and self-determination for African peoples in the U.S., they are also aware of the human health risks posed by corporate dominated agribusiness and genetically modified foods;

From Muhammad Farms Newsletter;

"The Miracle of Taste"

by Dr. Ridgely Abdul Mu’min Muhammad

"Have you ever watched an animal in the wild choose which plants to eat? I have noticed how deer would go through a field and sniff each plant before it ate one. Some it would eat and some it would leave alone. What were they sniffing for?

In a new book which we have reviewed on http://www.MuhammadFarms.com called "Seeds of Deception", the author Mr. Jeffrey Smith points out that cows when given a choice would not eat genetically modified corn. He documented instances where farmers would put genetically modified corn on one side of a feed trough and regular corn on the other. The cows would sniff the GM corn, but not touch it. They would move over to the regular corn and eat it all up.

There were other testimonials by farmers who observed that wild deer, that would normally eat the left over corn in a field after harvest, would not touch the corn in a field of genetically modified corn. Somehow the animals could smell and taste a difference in the genetically modified corn and would move towards the corn that they were familiar with.

Since the market failure of the FlavrSavr Tomato the biotech industry has shifted its attention away from genetically modifying fresh vegetables and fruits towards animal feed crops or crops that are used in processed foods. Fields of soybeans, corn, cotton, and canola cover over 145 million acres of cropland in the U.S. and are the front runners of these GMO crops."

Other separatist movements are based upon a desire for all people to become independant from the U.S. empire. Cascadian movement in the Pacific Northwest is not based specifically on ethnicity, though is based on regional self-determination. Cascadian activists also recognize indigenous native North American Indians as being the original stewards of the land, and favor land reclamation and of violated stolen treaty land returned to indigenous native peoples..

info on Cascadia;

"Welcome to the Republic of Cascadia Homepage.

Now is the time for the citizens of Cascadia to demand their freedom from the oppressive governments of Canada and the United States. For too long have our people put up with indifference and condescendence from distant seats of power. We have been subject to francophonic imperialism and wasteful spending of our tax money. Our entrepreneurs have been attacked by the so-called justice system for merely doing their jobs and growing our economy. When will we say enough is enough?

The former American states of Oregon and Washington and the former Canadian province of British Columbia must join together as a sovereign nation. Only then can we have self-determination and take our rightful place in the Global Community."

Within the southwestern states the Nuevo Aztlan secessionist movement works towards a free state independent of both the U.S. and Mexico. Would be inclusive of the large population of indigenous native North American Indian tribal nations and recent immigrants from Mexico..

"ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A University of New Mexico Chicano Studies professor predicts a new, sovereign Hispanic nation within the century, taking in the Southwest and several northern states of Mexico.

Charles Truxillo suggests the “Republica del Norte,” the Republic of the North, is “an inevitability.”

He envisions it encompassing all of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and southern Colorado, plus the northern tier of Mexican states: Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.

Along both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border “there is a growing fusion, a reviving of connections,” Truxillo said. “Southwest Chicanos and Norteño Mexicanos are becoming one people again.”

Truxillo, 47, has said the new country should be brought into being “by any means necessary,” but recently said it was unlikely to be formed by civil war. Instead, its creation will be accomplished by the electoral pressure of the future majority Hispanic population in the region, he said."

Am hesitant to include any weblinks to actual white separatist groups, though from what is available online this character actually shows some insight in this interview of FAQs;

" Q: White separatism is just a propaganda word for white supremacist, isn't it?

A: On the contrary, "white supremacist" is just a propaganda word, at least in many cases, for white separatism.

Q: Are you seriously trying to tell me that you don't want the white race to be supreme in the world?

A: I want the white people to control their own destiny in the territory they inhabit. "White supremacy" is a loaded phrase that implies oppression of other races. If we live in an all-white territory, there would be no need , desire or for that matter, ability, to oppress people of any other race.

Q: Then what you're saying is that the difference between a white separatist and a white supremacist is that one wants to control his destiny on his own land, the other wants to control other races in all lands.

A: We have white supremacy right now under Bill Clinton's liberal regime in Washington. They are importing cheap labor from the Third World because the white American man and white woman won't work that cheap. So the "lib-cons" ("liberal-conservatives"--the unholy marriage between left-wing state bureaucracy and right-wing capital), import the coolie labor and establish legislation such as NAFTA and GATT . Do you think colored people are benefiting from this buccaneer, "Free Trade" ideology? This praxis destroys all indigenous people and culture and it's being led by an age-old clique of Aryan Zionists."

on the NOI & Farrakhan;

"A: I regard as a potential ally anyone who cares for something more than money. It is the separatists of the other races who grasp many of the same things which I do, who I regard as far more trustworthy than the white Rockefellers, Kennedys, DuPonts and Bob Doles and Bill Clintons of the world.

Q: Even though, for example, Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam teaches that the white man is descended of the devil?

By their fruits--not their rhetoric-- ye shall know them. What have been the fruits of Farrakhan's organization? Self-respect, a desire for sovereignty, a willingness to speak radical truths at the cost of career, fortune or even one's life. Farrakhan gives his people order, organization and culture. He is a classical violinist. All of those traits are the attributes of civilization. I m glad to observe civilization arise among any people. It makes life easier for me and my kind.

At least Farrakhan does not play the cynical game of espousing a tough-talking "Hate Whitey" philosophy while lusting after my white wife, sister or daughter, as so many supposedly "decent, mainstream" and "non-hateful" blacks do. What is it with this bizarre phenomenon of hating white men while pursuing white women, if not warfare under another name?"

on the KKK and neo-Nazi skinheads;

"Today the klan is mostly a component of the B'nai B'rith and Hollywood. They act out a pre-determined role in the pre-determined script. They are pawns of their alleged enemies. I would suspect any Ku Kluxer or neo-Nazi today of being an FBI agent. Why not? Anyone using violence, except in the strictest terms as a means of self-defense for one's wife and children, for example, who might be getting mugged or something, is simply doing the work of the Federal government. The government must gradually clamp a police state upon the citizens of the U.S. If they do not, this corporate USA will secede into a hundred separate nations, quite conducive to insuring the rights of all of our citizens of whatever color. This must not be allowed, because the Overclass requires a huge national conglomerate of TV-doped masses to execute the will of the loansharks and serve as the mercenaries of the multinational corporations. Secession along mutually respectful racial and religious lines cannot be tolerated. Hence the System itself engineers terrorist outrages like the Oklahoma City bombing and uses semi-retarded people who call themselves klansmen, Nazis, skinheads--led by FBI "informants"--to get the wicked deed done."

DISCLAIMER: Certain statements found on this website below would be considered offensive and should be approached with caution. We all can agree to disagree on certain points, precisely the reason for including a white separatist who supports the NOI and yet discredits violent neo-Nazi skinheads and the KKK as agent provacatuers working with/for the FBI, whether they know it or not..

Someone has taken the time to collect all the various sedition, separatist and secessionist movements throughout the U.S. and elsewhere;

http://www.angelfire.com/nv/micronations/usa.html

Conclusion and summary;

If anyone actually made it through all this writing and still is awake, the point is that we cannot over generalize our ideas based upon what one group believes to be true. Even within the separatist and secession movements there are a diversity of opinions and ideas as to how one should go about this process. Other than certain groups being nationalist in nature, there is no reason that secessionists, separatists and seditionists couldn't work in some way in cohesion with anarchists and possibly communists in the struggle to overthrow U.S. empire. When we factor in the Al-Queda groups, there could be some interesting events in the near future. We should all try to keep an open mind when dealing with groups and/or individuals painted as "extremist" by the status quo, which adheres to a centrist position of capitalism and corporate cronyism that doesn't benefit anyone besides the elite..

thank you for confronting the fool at the pizzaria for his ignorance. maxxam may be a prime fascist threat to humboldt but hardly the first or last one. the fact that humboldt was founded on genocide predisposes many of the \"locals\" to supremacist tendencies. Chinese immigrants were purged in the early 1900s. logging companies focused this hatred on environmentalist \"nonlocals\" . hate groups have sometimes surfaced in mckinleyvill and fortuna. free speech is no excuse for displaying symbols of hatred or menacing the public. free speech is confronting the willfully ignorant. only a few have the guts to do it, for which the mediocre will always criticize them with guilt tripping tangential arguments. as for the second commentator, no, i didnt have time to read your abnormally long comment.
by Making time for self-education
Confronting the person at the pizzaria in Arcata for having pagan tatooes remains an invasion of that person's privacy and civil liberties. Anyone is free to critique an action that isn't as ethical or even relevant as the authors of the above piece claim. What was that person doing besides standing there that was so threatening to the "antifa" who calls themself "Billy Goat"? We don't need to make friends with or even agree with someone to give them the common courtesy of being left in peace if they are not engaging in any visibly aggressive or "hateful" activity against another. Most passerbys would not consider the runes or Odin's cross as racist and would not be offended unless the person was glaring at them and/or making rude & hateful comments..

If "antifa" didn't read about the ADL's recent inclusion of Asatru's pagan symbols under the category of "hate symbols" then they're choosing ignorance for themselves. Tangential and longwinded arguments as comments are needed to explain complex issues that divide and separate people who would otherwise be unified in their resistance to the U.S. system of imperialism (the REAL NAZIS, no doubt!!). If this author of comments (me) didn't care about hate crimes, i wouldn't have bothered to spend my time commenting on well intentioned yet mismanaged "antifa" strategy that appears to isolate, polarize and escalate people into becoming more hateful. Don't take my critiques of antifas as meaning to do nothing and ignore people's views or tatooes, though the methods of confrontation are more likely to drive people away and into the arms of another more serious hate group. Not like i enjoy spending my afternoons online talking about racism and hate-based prison gangs either, though i am growing an interest in joining the non-separatist and non-racist secessionist movements of either Cascadia and/or Nuevo Aztlan, or even bringing these two groups into a common dialogue, so there was no waste of time there..

Even if anarchists and "antifas" consider Asatru and other forms of paganism obsolete, that doesn't give them the right to harass people who are otherwise minding their own business and not bothering anyone. If prevention of hate crimes is the goal of antifas, maybe a non-confrontational tone and gestures of inclusion, not threats to "leave town" and "those tatooes won't be tolerated here" would be a more effective approach? Anyway, how fair is it for other communities if all the people with other tatooes that could be hate-based are pushed out elsewhere? If antifas would have more self-confidence in their own views, maybe they could reach out to people and build bridges instead of further isolate..

Again, there is no proof that this individual with pagan tatooes was the same person who spray painted the anti-immigrant graffiti posted in the above photo essay. To attempt to link these two separate incidents isn't fair or accurate from the perspective of journalistic integrity. If someone was observed attacking another either physically or verbally with hate speech, this would be a reason to intervene. Standing around the street with visible tatooes cannot be considered a "hate crime", especially if these tatooes are of an unknown pagan nature, not an actual swastika..

Since the so-called "antifas" are too busy harassing people on the street wearing tatooes labeled as "hate" by government propaganda machines like ADL, perhaps they won't have time to read about Asatru and other pagan traditions that use these symbols as part of their worship. For people who can take time out of their hectic schedules to expand their awareness of other spiritual beliefs, this article may be of interest;

"Napa couple fights racist image to bring Nordic worship to prisoners"

Napa Valley Register, June 21, 2003

http://www.napanews.com/

By VIVI STENBERG-WILLIAMS, Register Staff Writer

"A Napa couple is tapping into an ancient Nordic religion to lead a growing number of prison inmates toward a spiritual awakening.

Guided by Norse gods and goddesses, John and Monica Post are leading the rapidly growing National Prison Kindred Alliance (NPKA). At their last count, the Posts said they sent out more than 11,000 newsletters to imprisoned followers of a religion called Asatru. They also run Himminbjorg Publishing, which offers books and material on Asatru, and John founded a church called The Temple of Wotan to assist the alliance’s work within American prisons.

While the Posts say their work is devoted to providing a spiritual anchor for people who desperately need it, not everyone is enthusiastic about their efforts. As recently as last year the Posts were linked to an organization that some experts say supports white supremacy, which has caught the attention of groups trying to prevent race-based violence. Watchdogs including the Anti-Defamation League say the Asatru religion is being manipulated to offer ideological support for white supremacists.

“A lot of the kindred are formed along racial lines, and it’s a white religion so to speak,” John Post said. “However, we made it perfectly clear when we started last year: ‘If you want to follow your political racial views, you go over here and do that. We are doing the religion, and religion only. If you want to stay within the religious parameter we can, and will, help you.’”

In fact, Post said that he turned to Asatru not for racist reasons, but to help the prison community. He was attracted to Asatru after a lifelong search for the right faith, which had led him to seek out such varied fare as Scientology, Hinduism, Buddhism and Catholicism.

While serving 13 years in federal prison for unarmed robbery in Florence, Colo., Post said he was exposed to “a vicious cycle called recidivism” in which his fellow inmates would continually return to crime and then to prison.

Before his release in 2001, Post said he made an oath to fight recidivism by founding the National Prison Kindred Alliance. Through the alliance, the Posts say they work with state and federal authorities as well as prison chaplains to establish the belief system as a legitimate religion."

on the corruption of Asatru by neo-Nazi hate groups;

"Corruption of Asatru:

It is not unknown for otherwise decent religions to become corrupted by incorporating racist, sexist, anti-semitic, and homophobic beliefs. For example:

The Christian Identity movement is one wing of the Christian religion which has adsorbed such beliefs.

During the early part of the 20th Century, The National Socialist Party in Germany under Adolf Hitler attempted to pervert Asatru by grafting parts of the religion onto the Nazi racist beliefs. This blasphemy died by the end of World War II, although some neo-Nazi groups -- largely in the U.S. -- are now attempting to continue the practice.

This type of activity is in no way related to the restoration of Asatru as a legitimate Heathen religion. There is a very strong anti-racist, anti-Nazi stance among national Asatru groups in the Scandinavian countries. This is also found in almost all Asatru groups in English speaking countries. They typically have a clear rejection of racism written into their constitutions. Unfortunately, some anti-racism groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (in its Megiddo report) have mistakenly accused the entire religion of racism."

This site below contains numerous links related to runes and Asatru, and sums up the general position of Asatru on racism and homophobia;

"Ásatrú is not a monolithic religion. There is no centralised and universally accepted authority on interpretation or reconstruction of the Elder Troth. The links below represent diverse viewpoints. Please don't assume that because a link is listed here that I or any other practitioner of Ásatrú agrees with everything said.

Unfortunately, I must also make a brief mention of the ugly issue of racism. A small vocal group of people defile The Troth by associating the Æsir and the Vanir with a racist and homophobic political agenda. These nithings cloak their bigotry and fear with the trappings of Ásatrú and have no place in our community."

That being said, the most effective way to counter-recruit neo-Nazis and others with a hate-based agenda is through inclusive education, NOT by running people out of town, as they'll just go to another less well organized community than Arcata and have more ability to begin a serious hate group. In fact, i would go as far as to say that with the greater numbers of activists in the Arcata region, these activists have a collective responsibility to be more inclusive with people percieved as racist in order to prevent them being assimilated by more professional and experienced racists. This needs to be accomplished by being inclusive and non-confrontational, NOT by telling people to leave town. What about offering some protection and a support group to people who have left prison gangs and wish to disassociate themselves from whatever prison gang they were affiliated with? There could also be some attachment to the runes or other pagan symbols that gave them some limited protection in prison, so maybe finding out about non-racist Asatru alternitives would help the displaced pagans find a sense of community that is not hate based?

Personally i believe that Euro-americans would improve their actions and attitudes towards other ethnic groups if they bothered to take the time to understand their own pre-Christian heritage and spirituality. Same goes for African-americans, Mexican-americans and others currently caught in the Christian theology framework or the other extreme of athiest rationalism that reduces every concept to the lowest common denominator of the scientific method. The obscurity and vagueness of anarchism leaves a great deal to be desired also. Again, anarchism was originally found in the decentralized tribal lifestyles of many pre-Christian indigenous beleifs prior to the modern industrialist anarchists of the Bolshevik era..

To finish up, here's a comment from a five-percenter ("Who are THOSE people?" asks the antifa with no time to read, "are they also fascists that must be opposed?") about anarchism and indigenous people;

"And by ‘anarchist’ I do not mean “chaotic” but in the original context and meaning of the word. Many of us, in our quest to free ourselves from the shackles of society-one being labels, are so opposed to many words and ‘labels’ just due to their Eurocentric origin alone. However, there is truth in all things.

“Look at their breakdown of society: 10 percent of the population rules by deceiving 85 percent into believing in a false mystery god that doesn’t exist. The remaining 5 percent reject the lies of this evil 10 percent (the priests, imams, etc.). So when they say they’re God, it’s almost like an anarchist view of religion. Faced with the bullshit of organized religion, the anarchist says, “no gods, no masters.” Reacting to the same bullshit, the Five Percenter says, “I God, I Master.” This can be very empowering.”- interview with author, Michael Muhammad Knight, on “Waking the Midnight Sun” blog"

"One of the Hurons explained to Lahontan, “We are born free and united brothers, each as much a great lord as the other, while you are all slaves of one sole man. I am the master of my body, I dispose of myself, I do what I wish, I am the first and last of my Nation…subject only to the great Spirit [Brandon, p.90]. It is difficult to tell where the Huron philosopher speaks and where Lahontan may be promoting his own political philosophy, but still the book rested on a base of solid ethnographic fact: the Hurons lived without social classes, without a government separate from their kinship system, and without private property. To describe this political situation, Lahontan revived the Greek-derived word “anarchy”, using it in the literal sense meaning “no ruler”. Lahontan found an orderly society, but one lacking a formal government that compelled such order.”

BTW, the Five percent nation is also labeled a hate group by the ADL and other government sponsored watchdog groups. Though the 5% nation has very different views from Asatru, like Asatru they are also found in greater numbers within the prison system and offer members of the group protection..

background on five percent nation;

NOTE; Reference to "Allah" is Clarence 13X, founder of Five Percent Nation;

"Five Percenters

Allah's First Born became very powerful and dynamic young men and brought hundreds of black youth into the knowledge of self. They became known as Allah's Five Percent or the Five Percenters. It was in December of 1964 that the first assassination attempt was made on the life of Allah by a Negro named Carlos, who shot him with a high-powered rifle in a basement on 127th Street. The wound was serious enough for Allah to have to be hospitalized but it was not fatal.

Allah Arrested

On May 31, 1965 Allah was speaking at a rally in front of the Hotel Theresa, located at 2098 7th Avenue, when two police officers attempted to break up the rally. As a result a disturbance was brought about. Allah along with several other men were arrested for unlawful assembly and disorderly conduct. At the arraignment in criminal court before Judge Francis X O'Brien, he told the judge that he was wrong for accusing the righteous people and that the city would blow up. When offered a lawyer, he told the judge that he was Allah and that he would represent himself. The judge then ordered that he be taken and held in custody on a $9,500 bond. That September the judge in Supreme Court part thirty ordered him to be placed in the custody of the Psychiatric Unit at Bellevue Hospital for psychiatric treatment. This was the result of him proclaiming himself to be God (Allah). While at Bellevue he continued to teach the youth and authorities transferred him to Mattawan as a means of separating him from his growing nation. Notwithstanding, the nation continued to grow. Allah's Five Percent traveled to see him in Mattawan Hospital in Beacon, N.Y. and the nation spread to Beacon and neighboring Newburg as Five Percenters from New York City frequented these communities.

City on the Eve of Destruction

On April 4, 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee. This sent shock waves throughout black communities across the country. The immediate reaction of the masses of black people was to riot and loot the stores within their communities. In Harlem that night large crowds of people gathered on the streets. The Five Percenters were also out in force. Recognizing the tendency of the 85% to react violently without any consideration of who, where, what or how to execute their desire for justice, the Five Percent moved throughout the crowds of Harlem reinforcing peace. This helped avert a riot which would have left Harlem in a shamble and the black community holding the bag. Allah received public and media praises for his participation in maintaining peace and order. He also received a commendation from Mayor Lindsay for the outstanding job he was doing in providing motivation for educational and vocational growth in and with youth. On the morning of June 12, 1969, Allah awoke at the home of his mother. He told her that it was the best rest that he had ever had. She asked the Father if he could get out of where he had to go. The Father replied "when they are ready they will kill you." He hugged and kissed his mother good-bye and departed. His mother had the feeling when he had left that day, that he would never come back.

In 1968, Allah started giving indications to his Five Percenters that he would be departing. He would tell them things like, "After this year there won't be any Five Percenters anymore. You will be the Nation of Gods and Earths, not the Nation of Islam... If I die I don't want you standing over me crying because if I could I'd reach up and slap you." Or he would say to a friend while gesturing to one of his Five Percenters, "If I die tomorrow and he keeps teaching, how can I be dead?" In 1969, Allah began to prepare his Five Percenters for life on their own without him. He spoke with all of them in the Street Academy and one by one told them what their qualities were and left each of them responsible for a function for the Nation. He told them that he had to leave them because "the only way to attract the killer is to give blood" and that if they ever needed him all they had to do was come together. On the night of June 12, 1969, Allah was at his Street Academy speaking with his Five Percenters. He spoke with them well into the night about male-female relationships. Those who were present still remember to this day the euphoric feeling that he left them with. A feeling so good that they didn't notice that the yellow cab drive whose taxi that Allah got into wasn't the cab of A-Allah that he usually left with. Shortly after Allah had left, word came back that he had been brutally gunned down in the Elevator of Martin Luther King Towers on 112 Street in East Harlem. He was hit with seven or eight powerful blasts fired by his assailants. The Five Percenters rushed down to where their "father" was stricken. Many of them stood around crying. At least one of them had remembered what Allah had told them and didn't shed a tear. On Saturday, June 14th, Mayor Lindsay and his aide Barry Gotherer met with the Gods at their Street Academy. He told them of the sorrow that he felt also at the death of Allah. One by one the Gods spoke about the reasons that they loved Allah and pledged to continue his work."

We never found out, who shot Allah, Clarence 13X??

Returning to decentralized pre-Christian indigenous tribalism and "self-as-God" spirituality like the 5% Nation are the most similar paths to modern anarchism. The common ground between these converging views is a desire to free oneself from the dependency and domination of modern U.S. empire's capitalist manifestation. The methods to achieve this goal are varied forms of sedition and secession, and the recognition that some secession movements will be more comfortable with separatism, and others with integration (non-separatism). The separatist and non-separatist secession movements are growing in leaps and bounds, and the more "ueber-liberal" people try to act in censorship and labeling, the more likely people will migrate towards the separatist side of the fence..

To believe in civil liberties means speaking up for people you may often disagree with, as Noam Chomsky defends the rights of neo-Nazis to free speech. The rationale behind this arguement is that given the rights to freedom of speech, the neo-Nazi will present enough fallacies on their own to discredit their cause. Censorship on the otherhand seems to drive people further into the underground where they will seek to build a stronger resistance and often ally themselves with those who are willing to incite violence, sometimes even if these are government agents!!

My apologies once again for rambling on tangential topics, though the goal is to weave these topics together as concepts with shared ideologies, not to further isolate and ostracize people for having "extremist" views, we'll leave that to the ADL and other government agencies. Here's one last word on the ADL's increased surveillence and labeling methods..

This from counterpunch;

"The ADL spent millions of dollars preventing this case from coming to trial through costly appeals and exploiting the judicial process but, at the end, it had to give up..

During the course of the suit we learned that:

Bullock, the ADL's top "fact finder" had sold confidential information to a South African intelligence agent in San Francisco for $15,000.

Ten days before he was assassinated in South Africa, Chris Hani, the man who would have succeeded Nelson Mandela as the country's president, was trailed by Bullock on a trip through California who reported on it to the South African government.

ADL agent Roy Bullock was discovered to have a floor plan of murdered Los Angeles Arab American leader Alex Odeh and a key to his office.

The ADL supplied confidential information to foreign governments that it obtained from police and federal agencies in the US,

Having infiltrated the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), the ADL's "fact finder" performed a COINTEL-type operation at the convention of the Holocaust-denying Journal of Historical Review when he put ADC's literature on convention tables as a way of smearing the committee for "working with anti- Semites."

The ADL has organized to silence and eliminate all critical voices of Israel from academia and the media and has targeted professors , particularly those who are African American, and who are critical of Israel."

I dont see where the responders can accuse "billygoat" of trying to link the racist graff to his confrontaion with the individual displaying blatantly racist symbols.

i actually witnessed the confrontation, and it was not an attack, but actually really meaningful dialouge

for your information, the individual confronted had 14/88 writtin on his jacket, as well as the other pagan symbols. 14/88 is a well known neo-nazi code for what i understand is the "14 points" by which a true nazi has to live by, and 88 is a reference to HH, Heil Hitler. in that context, i can easily see why the pagan symbols would also be taken as racist, as i would have thought the same thing. i appreciate their non-racist origins, but lets be real and acknowledge the fact that people might see them as symbols of HATE in this situation. The same can be said for the graff by the burrito truck; in the context of being situated right next to a message that read "immigration laws nurture invaders", the symbols are going to be taken as racist and ignorant, and i think we are kidding ourselves if we think that they were not intended to be taken that way. and please spare me the "if we were to look at this situation in the context of pre-columbian native peoples...." that is ignoring the blatantly offensive and insulting situation infront of the truck in the here and now.

and yes, it is this individuals right to believe, wear or say ANYTHING he wants. that is his choice and that is his freedom. HIS FREEDOM ALSO COMES WITH RESPONSIBILITY!!!! YOU MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AND ANSWER FOR YOUR ACTIONS. AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO ACTIVELY DISPLAY HATE SYMBOLS, WELL, SOMEONE MIGHT JUST CALL YOU ON IT!!!! why is that so hard to understand..if i see a fascist or racist code or sign, hell yes im going to call that person out and let them know that their exclusive philosophy is not welcome near me or the people i love. wE HAVE THE FREEDOM TO REACT AND NON-VIOLENTLY CONFRONT SOMEONE LIKE THIS!! That is not "cowerdice", IT IS A COURAGOUS, ACTIVE STANCE AGAINST AN OPPRESSIVE PHILOSOPHY!!!

i really dont think "billygoat" is trying to cause a neo-nazi panic in the county. he/she is trying to inform the community. I don't know how familiar these readers are with REDWOOD CURTAIN ANTI-FASCIST ACTION, but perhaps they should become more informed by reading one of their mission-statement pamphlets. It is one of AFAs stated objectives to keep the community aware of hate, racism and fascism, and to help with the removal of such graff or tattoos (i really cant see any reason why a person from prison should keep a blatantly racist tattoo even when released, unless they really belive the ideology behind it. and i think it also brings up a great point about our country's prison system, but thats a whole new argument). It seems like AFA was actively doing their job, and BILLYGOAT is providing that story to the interested community. I myself have seen and documented many vulgar, racist, homophobic, and xenophobic examples in both Arcata and Eureka, from a swastika next to a crudly written "f**k mexicans in the HSU library bathroom, to a HUGE swastika spraypainted on a eureka building, to a person walking down the street with 14/88 proudly displayed in his clothes. i myself am a huge supporter of the north coast chapter of AFA, and think it is beautiful that they are doing what they are.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY BILLYGOAT! WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL!!!! AND DONT LET THESE RESPONDERS GET YOU DOWN. KEEP IT UP.
