COME SHUT DOWN THE BERKELEY MARINE RECRUITING CENTER
Make "Truth in advertising" posters that expose the lies that the recruiters are telling the youth in order to get them to kill and die for oil and empire... and bring them!

As part of a national Call to Action, the Bay Area chapter of World Can't Wait- Drive Out the Bush Regime! will sponsor action to shut down the U.S. MARINE CORPS RECRUITING CENTER in Berkeley. Converge and Rally 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Waterboarding demonstration 4:00 PM. This recruiting station sits between Berkeley High School and the UC Berkeley campus. For over a year it’s been doing its deathly business, pulling young people into the illegal wars and global designs of the Bush Regime. World Can’t Wait calls on everyone to help SHUT IT DOWN! All are invited, but World Can’t Wait especially calls for youth to be in the forefront of this day of resistance – especially the high school and college students who have grown up in the Bush nightmare years, and whose futures are on the line. All day, make orange the bold color of your whole school day, all over the Bay Area -- and then head for this action and bring everyone you know.
