Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the many events where people will gather to remember him.

Today, many people will gather to remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They will be speeches and most of the speeches will praise the leader and glorify him. And all that is very good.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. studied the methods used by Mohandas Gandhi years before in India - when Gandhi took on the British and and helped India attain Independence. This was NO easy task driving our a Colonial Power that controlled lands all over the world.

But, the fact is that the British left India - many died but India became free and is one of largest Democracy in the world.

Here in America when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. saw the plight of Blacks and the blatant discrimination - it was NOT a rosy picture he had to deal with.

When this Baptist Minister took a stand - many very close to him opposed him and many of them were Blacks. The Blacks that had money and could do something - did not want to take a stand for those that needed help. They did not want to make a sacrifice.

There can be no love without sacrifice. And no sacrifice is worth the salt if the Truth is not told.

Blacks could not vote and blatant discrimination was rampant. Many of us do not understand this fact - because we take it for granted today and do as we please - at least those that can afford to do so.

Imagine stopping at a place after traveling miles, are tired, and thinking you could eat something - just to be told that Black and Colored Folk were not allowed in that eating establishment.

Imagine standing in line to use a toilet meant for Blacks and you dare NOT visit the toilet meant for Whites. Waiting in line to drink at a faucet meant only for Blacks and Colored Folks to drink some water.

Debarred from staying in good hotels only meant for Whites and this was not that long ago - the fifties and sixties. It is the same in many places in the South today.

Well, today in San Francisco many House Negroes will gather and praise Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. but at these gatherings - you will not see the poor and especially poor Black folks - the talking will be done by the wannabees.

On this site in recent days I have written about Mayor Gavin Newsom and the hypocrite that he is.

He will talk the talk but when it comes to helping the poor - he will side with Lennar BVHP LLC and dubious politicians that have done NOTHING for the poor in the Southeast Sector of San Francisco.

Today, the man really behind the arranging of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast where the former Mayor of San Francisco and former Speaker of the Capitol in Sacramento will be in attendance - is a man named Millard Larkin.

Millard makes it a point to make this event his one event where he can earn his living for the rest of the year. Big names and big companies sponsor tables - in thousands of dollars in the name of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The Governor of California will be there - he was there one year on his crutches hopping along for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - then you will have in attendance for sure the Speaker of the Congress - Nancy Pelosi. Other pathetic loser but they will smile at one another - and when the event is over - to over the plans to duly oppress the poor.

The many Whites that harm Blacks and people of color with their daily policies and pay lip service to Civil Rights will be there in attendance and this year - it will be at the San Francisco Hilton - I believe closer to 333 Mason Street on the 2nd Floor or so.

No one will state to the audience how difficult it was for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to be himself. The Federal Bureau of Investigation made it hell for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

There were spies in his inner circle that thought for a moment they were doing right - when they were selling out their own Black people. Of course at that time the term used was Negroes.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke out and often said he worst enemies were those that did not take a stand and among them were the Negroes that had made it good and did not want to help uplift their fellow men.

We have them in the Bayview now - Linda Richardson, Willie B. Kennedy, Olin Webb, Sophina Maxwell, Doris Vincent, Aurelious Walker, Calvin Jones, Keith Jackson, Gary Banks I could fill this page with names. All consultants and all on the take. All selling their Black community for some dirty, stale - bread crumbs.

At every major event after much prayer and marching and speeching making by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - it was not uncommon for Law Enforcement to hose the people and then set dogs on them. It did not matter that women and children were adversely affected.

This trauma was experienced again and again by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

His family had to endure more suffering - constant vigilance against the forces that wanted to have no more of him and so they shot and killed him.

Mohandas Gandhi met the same fate - he was shot when unguarded he was making a speech and some man at close range - shot and killed him.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was shot by a high powered rifle from a far range - but the point is some one in HIGH POWER got rid of him.

Both Mohandas Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. started a MOVEMENT.

When you start a MOVEMENT and a Spiritual Movement at that - it is always about taking good folks, the righteous - to a better place.

The principles of Non-Violence are difficult to practice - because the virtue of living and acting are proportionate to the level of confidence the leader or leaders have in understanding the issues at hand and trust in God. You have to walk the walk and less talk the talk.

Patience and tolerance does not come easy - some one strikes you and you stand there and take more. Some one harms you - setting dogs and stuff like that and you endure the harm done to you when you are on the front line. You do it - so that others make be FREE.

There is FREEDOM and then there is LICENSE. Abuse of freedom is license.

Today, in San Francisco the most Racist City - we have a Spiritual Movement begun by some leaders. I am one of them.

My travels all over the world and the deep study of philosophy, theology, logistics and spirituality put me in the company of women and men to do the right thing for our community in the Bayview Hunters Point.

San Francisco and Lennar have joined forces to harm our people in the Bayview Hunters Point.

The issues are many and stem from corrupt politicians - most of them will be attending today's breakfast to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr at the San Francisco - Hilton Hotel.

They will hear speeches made - but they will not flinch and admit to the harm they are doing to many - and especially the children exposed to heavy metals, toxic dust, particulates, Asbestos Structures, Radiological Elements.

No one will ever mention a word about this situation - because in today's world it is all about being diplomatic and sanitizing words.

When Jesus went into the temple and saw the merchants selling their wares - he turned tables and told the folks there - to respect the temple and what it stood for. He got angry.

When corrupt politicians stand behind companies like Lennar BVHP LLC and harm our children - we must speak the TRUTH. Gavin Newsom is a hypocrite and always has been one.

Gavin Newsom knows that our children, our Elders, those with compromised health are suffering.
Yet, this man has not said a word.

He can spend thousands on furniture for his office - all tax payers money. But, has NOT spent one single dollar to test our children.

The SF Board of Education has passed a Resolution unanimously approving a resolution for Lennar BVHP LLC to stop their project on Parcel A at Hunters Point and to test the children.

The SF Youth Commission did the same and endorsed the same detail Resolution. Mayor Gavin Newsom has chosen not to do the right thing. Therefore, he is a hypocrite.

Families and children are leaving San Francisco for all the wrong reasons. Blacks have been reduced to five percent of the population they were thirty five percent in San Francisco.

If Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was briefed by myself - he would say what I am saying and writing.

There is nothing like speaking the Truth.

So, for IndyMedia to censure the articles that speak the TRUTH is not Right. As, you know I have been writing daily - to impress upon the Nation - as the City and County of San Francisco has done nothing about the adverse impacts to our children and others.

California and those in Sacramento are backing the main Regulatory Agencies - that back the quasi-State agency the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency - that is giving permission to Lennar to harm our Elders, our children, and those with compromised health.

So, the articles that were redacted must be posted if you are on the side of the people that are suffering.

Children are slowly dying and many have died. Our Elders are slowly dying and hundreds will die - because they have all been poisoned by this City and Lennar.

I have chosen to explain this all today - to shame you all that do not pay attention to the historical events.

History repeats itself because most folks live in the present and give a hoot about the past.

If there was NO Mohandas Gandhi there would be no Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

If there were NO leaders that I admire - leaders that know the way, show the way, and go the way - there would be NO - Francisco Da Costa.

The Main Media is on the side of the corrupt - the powerful forces that have initiated a Ballot Measure called: The Bayview Jobs, Parks and Housing Initiative that is in reality a land grab by the corrupt forces of thousands of acres - in and around Candlestick Point.

There has been NOT one single meaningful dialog with the community - linked to this fake Initiative.

There has been no Environmental Impact Report and no one is paying attention to Cumulative Pollution, Liquefaction and of course Earthquakes - in and around Candlestick Point.

The poor will be removed and so called Affordable Housing is for those that can bring in $100,000 of more. That is what Wilie L. Brown Jr. said to the poor and those that could hear: " If you do not make more then $100,000 San Francisco is not for you". And for those of you that do not know him - he is Black.

We make a deal about the Holocaust but that is what is happening in the Bayview Hunters Point - the Gang Injunction, the depopulation of Blacks, the poisoning of our children, elders, and others, the lack of opportunity, and the land grabbing by those in power.
