Gary King Jr, a 20-year-old African-American man, was murdered by Oakland cop Patrick Gonzales on Sept. 20, 2007. After tazering Gary King Jr. brutally, Gonzales shot him twice in the back. Gonzales has a long history of of harrassment and brutality as an OPD officer, including the murder of at least one other young African American man and the shooting/paralysis of another.
Please join family, friends, neighbors, and supporters at the weekly protests to demand that Gonzales face the consequences of his vile actions and to demonstrate that vicious police behavior will not be tolerated!
