Who is Opposing Your Incumbent Stooge?
http://peacecandidates.com/
It is every well-informed American's obligation to Ensure that every one of the incumbent stooges is opposed by a true Peace Candidate like Cindy Sheehan or Col. Bob Bowman. A person that is committed to ending the war and squashing the corruption in DC.

Who is Opposing Your Incumbent Stooge?
There are many 'known unknowns' about the Bush Years, but there's one thing we know for sure, the Democrats are not going to end the war. Before the 2006 elections they told us they needed to get control of Congress, then we'd see some action.
Well that hasn't happened. In fact, they just passed a $696 Billion defense bill, with another $70bil cherry on top for lil Bushitler last week. They are now in open defiance of upholding their oath of office. Nancy Pelosi and John Conyers and the rest of the enbablers in DC are flipping you the bird America- they don't care what you think about it because they've got Diebold.
What are we to do?

There were probably hundreds of patriotic citizens running in 2006, but who were they? I found a website or two with a list, but unfortunately many of those on the list were trojan-horse peace candidates. People claiming to be against the war, but were actually little John Kerrys. That's how fascism works- with a fake opposition.
To oppose this massive fraud, we need a good organization, not another fascist front like moveon.
PeaceCandidates.com Launches to recruit regular Americans to run for Congress against the incumbents. We don't need a million dollars, we need to organize and pool the resources of a million volunteers. That is the goal of Peace Candidates.com
Ask the candidates in your state to take this pledge- if they fail to do so, find someone to run against them.
Running as Democrats, Republicans and Independents, regular American citizens can run for Congress on a very low budget. You don't need to quit your day job- we just need an honest individual willing to take the pledge.
Soon we'll have bumper stickers, t-shirts, flyers, yard signs all ready to be download by you printed locally. But more than that- our combined effort on the internet will make this movement spread virally- by the time November arises we could have vote-watchers at every precinct in every state.
Much more to come- please help build this movement.
Contact someone on this list and ask them to run.

This website is supportive of Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul supporters running for office, the type of people who tend to be free thinkers.
First as to Dennis Kucinich: He is a Democrat, part of the Democratic Party's team of candidates, all of whom are running as a team to make sure the workingclass votes for the capitalist Democrats instead of Red (Peace & Freedom in California) or Green, the only reason this branch of the capitalist party exists, the other branch being the Republican Party, funded by the same corporations for the same war and fascism agenda, to maximize the profits of the capitalist class. Kucnich has an anti-abortion record, suddenly claiming to be prochoice to run for president the first time. He has voted for aid for Israel, the US military base that exists to protect US oil profits in the Middle East, as do all Democrats and Republicans, and voted against Mumia Abu-Jamal in the infamous resolution 527 of Dec. 6, 2006, of the House condemning the city of St. Denis, France for renaming a street after Mumia Abu-Jamal, effectively calling for Mumia's death. See http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2006/roll527.xml
As to Ron Paul, a Republican, he is anti-minimum wage, anti-abortion, anti-immigrant, in other words, viciously reactionary.
It is interesting that Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are lumped on the same website; they stink equally of course.
There are only two parties that are for peace, the minimum wage, abortion, immigrants, support Mumia Abu-Jamal, support the Palestinian liberation struggle, oppose the death penalty, care about the environment: They are the socialist party on your ballot (Peace & Freedom Party in California) and the Green Party.
The presidential primary in California is February 5. You must be registered in a party to vote for that party's candidates in the presidential primary. The primary for all other partisan offices is in June, and there will be different ballot propositions on that ballot.
The Congressional races will be on the June ballot for the party primaries. Cindy Sheehan is running as an independent so we will not see her on the ballot until November. It is not clear who will be opposing her besides the Democrat Nancy Pelosi and the usual Republican, whoever that may be. Pelosi usually gets 80% of the vote so Cindy Sheehan's campaign will have to walk and call every single voter who is not registered Republican in her congressional district to win a serious vote. The precinct lists and brochure will have to be ready by Labor Day weekend, the first Monday iin September. Hopefully, the fundraising is being done now for this pecinct lists, phone lines and campaign brochure.
As to the February 5 primary, in San Francisco, you can do a BINGO NO on the ballot propositions for the County of San Francisco. As to the proposed peace center in the middle of the bay instead of the former prison, Alcatraz, all peace offices should be in the workingclass communtiies doing counter-recruiting, not in the middle of the barely accessible, freezing cold bay where we do not live. We are not fish; we are human beings. We will stop the wars when the workingclass refuses to fight these wars. San Francisco's Propositions may be found at:
http://www.sfgov.org/site/elections_index.asp
For the State of California, Yes on 92 and No on all the rest, especially No on 93, the tinkering with term limits (promoted by Democrats but will in fact benefit Republicans), and No on all the gambling propositions.
A good explanation of the California propositions are on the Cal Voter website:
http://www.calvoter.org/voter/elections/2008/primary/props/index.html
YOU CAN STILL REGISTER TO VOTE FOR THE FEBRUARY ELECTION and have until January 22 to do so, but at this point, you will have to go to your County Registrar of voters as it is too late to mail anything. In San Francisco, the Registrar is at City Hall, basement, Van Ness side, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You should also immediatly sign up to be a permanent absentee voter so you can vote in the comfort of your own home on your own time in future elections. You can vote immediately if you are there from or after January 7, 2008. If you signed up for permanent absentee ballot, as you should, your ballot should be coming in a week. Absentee (vote by mail) starts January 7, 2008. Our voter handbooks should be coming any day. If you do not have it by January 15, call your County Registrar of Voters. When you get your voter handbook, if you are not a permanent absentee voter, fill out the application on the back cover and mail it immediately.
