1/19 Pro-Abortion March SF Justin Herman Plaza; Maybe Market Street March Too

by &
The best defense is a good offense: After 3 years of anti-abortion marches, we finally were first to obtain a permit for a pro-abortion rally celebrating 35 years of Roe v. Wade, at Justin Herman Plaza, Market & Embarcadero, San Francisco, hopefully followed by a march on Market Street filling the street and sidewalks to Civic Center, as we did 1989-1992, and these pro-abortion rallies and marches must be every year to expand women's right to abortion and repeal the April 2007 Supreme Court decision criminalizing late term abortions.

This glorious news was announced at:

We are facing a rapidly increasingly fascist society and do not want to be fighting fascism as the White Rose Society tried to do circa 1941 in Nazi Germany. Nazi Germany too was anti-abortion, anti-women and anti-science, promoting a women's place as Kinder, Kuche, Kirche, with children, in the kitchen and in church. The anti-abortion majority, all of whom were approved by Democrats and Republicans, namely Chief Justice Roberts, Alito, Kennedy, Scalia and Thomas prevailed over the pro-abortion minority, Breyers, Ginsburg, Souter and Stephens in cirminalizing late term abortions in April 18, 2007 in Gonzales v. Carhart. It will not be long before this backward country repeals all abortion except in the case of rape, incest, fetal impairment or a women's health problems as happened in Poland, or ban it as is the case in Ireland, both countries about as backward as the USA, the most backward country in the industrialized world as it has no national healthcare system.

ABORTION IS PART OF WOMEN'S HEALTHCARE AND WE MUST HAVE FREE ABORTION ON DEMAND REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY, AGE OR MARITAL STATUS OR ANY OTHER RESTRICTION IN ALL COUNTIES IN THE USA. Currently, 87% of US counties do not have any abortion clinic. Other horrors are:
From:
http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/sfaa/print/california.html
• In 2000, 41% of California counties had no abortion provider. 4% of California women lived in these counties. In the West census region, where California is located, 19% of women having abortions traveled at least 50 miles, and 6% traveled more than 100 miles.

• In California, 2 metropolitan areas lack an abortion provider: Merced; Visalia-Tulare-Porterville

PLEASE, EVERYONE, BE AT JUSTIN HERMAN PLAZA, MARKET AND EMBARCADERO (Embarcadero BART), San Francisco, January 19, 2008 and let's fill Market Street for a long overdue march on Market Street to Civic Center, and WE MUST DO THIS EVERY YEAR REGARDLESS OF WHO IS PRESIDENT TO EXPAND WOMEN'S RIGHT TO ABORTION TO ALL US COUNTIES AND ALL WOMEN AND REPEAL THE SUPREME COURT RULING CRIMINALIZING LATE TERM ABORTIONS.
