Families, seniors, disabled...tenants rights organizers, homeless advocates and affordable housing developers, all under the banner of HOUSING JUSTICE are urging the Board of Supervisors to vote to put the Affordable Housing Charter on Nov 2008 ballot. The Charter will set aside 2.5 cents out of every $100 of property taxes, resulting in $33 million annually to be used to build affordable housing over the next 15 years. PLEASE COME OUT TO SPEAK IN SUPPORT of this very important measure.
