NDFP Chief Peace Negotiator Luis Jalandoni reported that Elizabeth Principe, 56 years old and a mother of two from Bongabong, Nueva Ecija was abducted by eight armed men in black uniform last November 28,2007
She was surfaced by the police and the military in an press conference was liked to tne so called “NPA plot and walk –out or coup” of General Danny Lim and Senator Trillanes in Makati City last November 29. She (Principe) vehemently denied the PNP and AFP allegations as lies.
The AJLPP National Coordinator Mario Santos expressed alarm on the ongoing trend or pattern that more than ten more than 10 NDFP peace consultants were arrested, abduction or disappeared when peace talks between the NDFP and the GRP was suspended in 2004.
The AJLPP finds it absurd that the GRP does not respect JASIG and subject NDFP consultants to arrests, abduction and forced disappearances since the talks were suspended four years ago. NDFP consultant Sotero Llamas was killed in broad daylight in Bicol.
AJLPP Santos said “while the talks with the MILF is ongoing we asked why the GRP has adopted the hardline stand against the CPP-NPA and the military rebels. Confidence leading measures must be implemented by the GRP so as to peace talks might be pursued.
As long as the GRP used naked force to hunt down NDFP consultants there will be never ending cycle of violence and there will be no peace. “
