Activists Aim to Block Japan's 'Scientific' Whale Hunt

by NPR (reposted)
Tuesday, November 20, 2007 : All Things Considered, November 19, 2007 · A Japanese whaling fleet is set to sail to Antarctica this week, pursuing over a thousand whales — some of them humpbacks. But Greenpeace and other critics contend that Japan's intentions are commercial.

Karli Thomas of Greenpeace talks with Melissa Block.
