A Day in Solidarity with Venezuela: Learning & Celebration (part 2 of 2)

What: On December 2, Venezuelans will vote on reforms to their constitution. Join us in a day OF activities in solidarity with Venezuela's democracy and sovereignty. This event will be part of national Days in Solidarity with Venezuela in response to a joint call to action by the Venezuela Solidarity Network [http://www.vensolidarity.net], Hands Off Venezuela [http://www.ushov.org], and the Latin America Solidarity Coalition [http://www.lasolidarity.org].

Earlier in the day, learn about Venezuela:

2pm to 6pm: Learn about Venezuela's Bolivarian Revolution:

2pm: "No Volverán: The Revolution Now" a new documentary;

4pm: Slide presentation of recent tour of Venezuela by Laura Wells and Larry Shoup;

5pm: "Venezuela: Revolution from the Inside Out", filmmaker Clif Ross will present a 30 minute sneak peak of his documentary.


Admission: Sliding scale ($5-$20) no one turned away for lack of
funds. Benefit for the Emergency Response Network to mobilize
resistance to U.S. intervention in Venezuelan politics.
