The Iraq Action Group (IAG) at UCSF presents: "When the War Comes Home; Stories from Those Who Know the War First-hand," featuring four speakers personally affected by the war in Iraq, including a presentation by Aidan Delgado, U.S. Army veteran and conscientious objector who disclosed the abuses at Abu Graib. The event takes place on Thursday, November 15, from 7 - 9:30 PM. A panel discussion and opportunity for audience participation follows the program. This event is free and open to the public.
This event is sponsored by the Iraq Action Group, a campus organization at the University of California, San Francisco, comprised of UCSF faculty, staff and students united in the goal of educating the campus community and the public about the health effects of the Iraq War. The focus of the November 15 event is to explore the less-obvious mental health consequences that remain long after the individual's involvement in the conflict is over.
