"Shake Off AIPAC": Sacramento AIPAC Annual "Luncheon" @ Radisson

Date:
Sunday, December 16, 2007
Time:
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Event Type:
Protest
Organizer/Author:
dan the man;)
Location Details:
Outside main entrance to Radisson Hotel, 500 Leisure Lane (off Hwy #160 near Royal Oaks exit).

Local AIPAC supporters will be there to hearThe Word from AIPAC CEO Kohr & other Ziocon honchae; we'll be there to give them a big Unwelcome, let them know we don't appreciate AIPAC's push for the US to attack Iran ("let's you and him fight"). Or the AIPAC role in keeping the US in Iraq, trashing the Bill of Rights, smearing critics as "anti-Semitic" or "self-hating Jews", preventing free speech, demonizing Arabs & Muslims, and peddling a distorted version of M-E history to the US public. Bring signs, banners, flags, puppets, instruments, and the courage of your convictions!

by just wondering
Last years protest was sponsored by JVP- are they still the contact this year? And do you have any info on how to get involved with the planning? There is a strong peace and justice movement at UC Davis that would like to be involved.
by Stephen Pearcy
I organized last year's "Dismantle AIPAC" event at the Radisson because I knew that JVP would have some people there but only with very tame messages. As it turned out, I was right. Fortunately, the large contingency of people who came after getting my announcement brought messages sincerely critical of AIPAC and the terrorist activities that it promotes.

This year will be no different. JVP will claim to oppose AIPAC, but its members will be there with toned down messages. So, again, we'll need to rely on other people to come out and protest the very existence of that overwhelmingly corrupt organization.

I am confused. AIPAC is bad, but why aren't we also protesting the Saudi lobby meetings? Don't the Saudi's flog women for allowing themselves to be raped and execute gays? Israel is brutal, but so are countries like Saudis and Sudan and Pakistan. Why the focus on Israel....the US gives money to Saudi Arabia also, and Bush is in their pocket!
by un-confused triker
The focus is on Israel because it's the most corrupt terrorist state that ever existed.
by False flag op
AIPAC long ago figured out that if there loud, anti-Israel protests outside of their events, then donations went up and the checks got larger. These guys are hired AIPAC shills doing a false flag operation designed to scare the rich donors inside. Think about it, the die hards inside an AIPAC event are going to be swayed tochange sides by a few protesters BUT they might get scared/angry enough at seeing Palestinian and Hezbpllah flags to increase their doantions. Just think who benefits?

The organizers of the Stop AIPAC events last year felt their cause and their message was disrupted and discredited by the voices of the extremists represented by Elliott and Pearcy.
Many felt it was done deliberately.
There is substantial evidence that the organizers of this "protest", Stephen and Virginia Pearcy are Zionist shills. Pearcy's wife is a highly compensated corporate attorney at one of the largest law firms in San Francisco- one that 'coincidently' does a great deal of business with Israel.
Ask yourself who benefits from their kind of behavior.
Only AIPAC and the Zionist agenda.
by Will Attend
Last year's protest at the Radisson was the first time I attended a protest against AIPAC. It was an eye opening experience and I'm glad there were flags representing Palestine and Lebanon. I'm looking forward to this one. Thank you!

The tactics of this group led the Sacramento AIPAC meeting to raise more significantly money than the other local gatherings.
We have every reason to believe they are plants and provacateurs.
We urge everyone to avoid this and to attend the alternativeStop AIPAC sanctioned events occuring locally
by JVP'er
JVP's involvement in this event is documented by the photos at interviews in this week's Chico press review, which features the photographs of JVP members on the cover, and interviews within
