1) Thank you for supporting the resolution to stop the spraying.

2) Please vote to immediately join the city of Santa Cruz's lawsuit to stop the spraying.
Please focus on Jan Beautz she is still undecided. (831) 454-2200

Council will be deciding legal action on the BioChemical Spray issue. It is a closed Session. We will gather to show our support and encouragement so they will file a temporary restraining order (TRO), and take ALL legal action to Stop the Biochemical Spray! We need to gather in the courtyard to show our support!

Oct 31, 2007- 4:30pm Farmers Market

YEARLY SPRAY SCHEDULE

At October 23rd Meeting:

During a Q&A period with the public last night, Secretary of CDFA, A. G. Kawamura, and other state officials revealed their spray schedule. After the November, 2007 pesticide aerial applications, spraying will resume in March, 2008 and continue

EVERY 30 DAYS FOR 9 MONTHS STRAIGHT!!

Then again in 2009, starting in March, biochemical pesticides will again be sprayed on the human population EVERY 30 DAYS FOR 9 MONTHS STRAIGHT!! They said that this will continue for two complete moth life cycles after the very last moth is found. In other words, since they have previously admitted that the efficacy of this method is unknown, these operations will continue indefinitely... for years and years!!

The state officials were also asked if there has been any crop damage documented at all so far in California due to the LBAM. After whispering to each other for about 20-30 seconds, a sober answer was finally given. And the answer was, "No". And we're supposed to believe that this is deserving of an "emergency" status?
