Globalize This! 10/19 IMF protest in SF Financial District

A spirited rally and speakout broke out in the Financial District as upwards towards 100 people rallied at Montgomery BART on Friday, October 19 during the afternoon commute hour. IMF policies that impoverish indigenous peoples in the Global South were denounced. A march around some of the transnational businesses on and around Market St. followed. The rally was organized by Globalize This! in solidarity with DC rallies against an IMF meeting there. Hear 18 minutes of audio from the rally.
