Berkeley Insane Stupid Story

Hi everybody, I have been voluntarily flyering the east bay for City Lights since the days of 1972. Each month, I go into the venerable literary meeting place at Columbus and Broadway, take several flyers, and then put them up at designated bulletin boards. I also take them to the collective houses. This past week, I went to City Lights as usual, and was told by Peter the manager, that some crazy City of Berkeley council member telephoned City Lights, and threatened to sue, because someone (not myself) had posted a flyer in his or her neighborhood, NOT on a designated message board. I want everone who is not a total social imbecile to telephone the Berkeley mayor's office and complain. VIVA CITY LIGHTS, AND LET'S GET BERKELEY THE PSYCHIATRIC MAKEOVER IT HAS BEEN NEEDING FOR YEARS.
