Green City Gallery in Downtown Berkeley and Cal-PIRG at UC - Berkeley are hosting a joint event November 3 to rally the community and ask our leaders to Step It Up! to combat global warming.

The Green City Gallery, located at 1950 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA 94709, will be hosting speakers and workshops starting at 12:00 PM continuing throughout the day, followed by music, drinks, and more information from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (contact info: Green City Gallery, 510-981-9948, stepitup [at] greencitygallery.org, http://www.greencitygallery.org).

Cal-PIRG at UC - Berkeley will have a solar powered concert, speakers, and community groups on the Berkeley campus on Lower Sproul Plaza, located at Bancroft Ave. and Telegraph Ave., from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM. (contact info: Mallory Sadan, (805) 637-7557, msadan [at] berkeley.edu ).
