On Monday, October 22nd, the family of Gary King Jr. will be joining in a
march starting at 11:00 at Mosswood Park (on West Macarthur Blvd. between
Telegraph & Broadway in Oakland.) Community members are asked to accompany
them to protest Gary's murder by Oakland Police Sargent Patrick Gonzales
on September 20th. The march will meet up with the 1:30pm City Hall
convergence, which marks the National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, Repression, and the Criminalization of a Generation.
This convergence will lead into a 2pm march downtown and a 3:30 rally at
City Hall. Please spread the word!
