"tin tree factory is secretly one guy who thinks too
much. his name is johnny and he's been playing and
listening to music since before he can remember.
johnny's influences and musical experiences are very,
very varied. he's written and performed in different
music project ranging from hardcore to bluegrass. in
recent days he's ventured into solo performances,
using an acoustic guitar, dulcimer, toy organ and
other musical instrument he finds at the thrift stores
nearby. he likes to focus his music on his messages
now, writing songs about dark secrets, joyus failures,
people struggling for liberation and other fun stuff.
look for him in anti-racism workshops and collective
houses playing music for his friends and anyone else
who's interested."

Brenna Sahatjian:

"Brenna Sahatjian has songs sprouting in her stomach.
She plays original folk tunes involving guitar, cello,
and piano, and is part of Riot-Folk, a radical
collective of folk musicians. She is noted for her
unique guitar style, the dense poetry of her lyrics,
and multi-instrumental recordings on which she
accompanies herself. She's joined members of the
Riot-Folk collective on several US tours, including
Pedal to the People, a bicycle-music tour through
Missouri with Adhamh Roland. She's recorded and put
out two discs on her own, Crude but Lucid (2005) and
To Each Idle Arrow (2006). Her latest, Dream Warriors
(2007), is a collaboration with Johnny D of Tin Tree
Factory. She has also recorded with Flee the City, a
neo-classical string trio in which she plays cello."

Riot Folk:

"We are an anti-profit mutual-aid collective of
radical artists and musicians. We make music to
provoke, educate, heal and inspire."
