On October 8th, 1967, Che Guevara was captured and killed by CIA led Bolivian forces. Since then, in Cuba this day has been known as Dia de la Guerrilla Heroica. New College of California"s Activism and Social Change Program will mark the 40th anniversary of this event by sponsoring a day-long Che Guevara Film Fest which will include "Motorcycle Diaries"; "The Bolivian Diaries"; the reactionary 1969 Hollywood film "Che" starring Omar Sharif, the premier of his daughter"s new film "Aleida Guevara Remembers Her Father, Che"; and featuring the amazing full-length documentary "El Che:Investigating a Legend".
