Time:
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Meeting

Location Details:
San Francisco Board of Supervisors, City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton Goodlett (Van Ness and McAllister or Polk & McAllister), 2d Flr, San Francisco. Civic Center and Van Ness Muni Metro.

Be at the San Francisco Board of Supervisors meeting today at City Hall, Polk & McAllister, Civic Center, San Francisco, to support an historic, litmus test vote, or at least make your phone calls or send your Emails immediately on the crucial issue of Banning the Navy's Blue Death Flights, flying illegally low over heavily populated San Francisco, wasting tax dollars and oil, making terrible noise, to glorify war during Columbus Genocide Fleet Week for the sole purpose of military recruiting. This Resolution originally sponsored by Supervisor Chris Daly, finally joined by Supervisors Mirkarimi, Sandoval and Ammiano, needs your support to pass. Please be there, or if you cannot, call or Email all 11 Supervisors right now with your support message. They all have voice mail so you can leave a message at any time. The resolution is here: http://www.sfgov.org/site/uploadedfiles/bdsupvrs/bosagendas/materials/070931.pdf
The Board may be reached by looking in your SF Phone Book's blue-striped white pages or at the Board's website at:
http://www.sfgov.org/site/bdsupvrs_index.asp?id=7271
There is nothing else that is particularly controversial on today's agenda, and there is no public discussion on this item, so it is best to be early at today's 2 p.m. meeting.
