REGARDING THE BERKELEY HOUSING AUTHORITY
PUBLIC HOUSING WAIT LIST

The Affordable Housing (Public Housing) Wait List will open for new applications on Monday, September 24, 2007. Applications will be available beginning  Friday, September 21, 2007.

THIS IS NOT
FOR THE SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM.

APPLICATIONS MAY BE OBTAINED FROM:

      1.  Berkeley Housing Authority Office (1901 Fairview Street, east of Adeline, near Ashby BART)

      2.  City of Berkeley Housing Department (2180 Milvia Street, 2nd Floor)

      3.  Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board (2125 Milvia Street at Center Street downtown)

      4.  Berkeley Public Library (2090 Kittridge Street near Shattuck Avenue in downtown Berkeley)

      5.  Center for Independent Living  (2539 Telegraph Avenue)

      6.  East Bay Community Law Center (2921 Adeline Street)

      7.  Centro Legal de la Raza (2501 International Boulevard)

      8.  Asian Resource Center (310—Eighth Street)

Applications must be postmarked between Monday, September 24th and Friday, September 28th.  Applications postmarked before September 24th or after September 28th WILL NOT be accepted. 

Berkeley’s Public Housing Units are ALL large family units with either 3 or 4 bedrooms.
