Mayoral candidate arrested for stalking Supervisor Ed Jew
Grasshopper Alec Kaplan is a homeless taxi driver, a dedicated activist and a mayoral candidate. He was arrested at 2:30AM this morning and is being held on four charges at 850 Bryant. He is in solitary confinement and has asked for help in obtaining vegan food and community support.

The felony counts include threatening a state official and stalking. The misdemeanor counts include trespassing and using a vehicle for habitation.
