Eric McDavid Update - 9/1

Fundraising
We have recently received another generous donation of matching funds.
The quicker they get matched, the quicker we will reach our goal to help
Eric's family cover legal fees. We now have $1,000 in matching funds!

Trial Schedule
Also, we need to revise some information from the previous alert. Soon
after we sent the alert we received news that Judge England will NOT be
out of town the week of the 17th, so we WILL be in trial that week.

Vegan Food
Last night we received a call from Eric informing us that the jail had
stopped feeding him vegan food. After a flurry of phone calls we got word
that the sargeant had assured us that the problem was fixed. Later in the
evening we received another call from Eric confirming that the problem
does appear to have been fixed. However, we won't know for sure until
Monday. Luckily, Eric has enough food from his commissary to last him
through the weekend. If we find out on Monday that the problem has not
been resolved, we'll need your help! Please be prepared to make phone
calls to the jail on Monday if Eric is still not receiving food. We will
try to keep everyone updated as information becomes available.

Eric sends everyone his thanks and his love. He is doing amazingly well
and is ready for trial. Please take a few minutes and send him a note of
encouragement as trial approaches.
