Pangs Theater Ensemble Performs Moliere's Don Juan in Golden Gate Park

by Anonymous
Pangs Theater Ensemble believes San Francisco's natural resources should be used to the fullest. The Company believes the use and enjoyment of Golden Gate Park should be more fully developed and thus will stage Moliere's Don Juan in the Park's Bunny Meadow, former venue of Shakespeare in the Park.

Pangs Theater Ensemble is a performance company that remembers the importance of doing what is right. Pangs Theater's work always addresses serious issues with the intention of motivating introspection and encouraging compassion and peace. In October, Pangs Theater will do just that while giving audiences a last taste of San Francisco's late summer, by providing a favored warm-weather pleasure, outdoor entertainment.

Pangs Theater will perform Moliere's version of the classic story of Don Juan, the remorseless heartbreaker. Moliere's comedic version of this tale of immorality is a treat with serious implications. Pangs Theater's physical style will highlight the comedy and the political and social commentary made in this highly entertaining yet important play.

With Golden Gate park's beauty as a backdrop, Pangs Theater plans to accomplish its dual missions of entertaining audiences while making a positive social impact.
