The Iraq Moratorium is a nation-wide attempt to reach out to that sector of the peace majority who hasn't yet taken a first step to end the war. We will take time on Friday Sept. 21 and (subsequent 3rd Fridays of the month) to wear black, (ribbon or armband), mourn the dead and call our congresspeople to demand the war be defunded, human needs be funded and the troops brought home now. Working committees include labor, faith, students, neighborhoods, messaging/media.
