In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love, rock historian and author Richie Unterberger will be presenting rare and classic 1967-era film clips of psychedelic rock, from San Francisco and elsewhere, on Wednesday, August 8, from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Park Branch of the San Francisco Public Library at 1833 Page Street. Included will be clips by Jefferson Airplane, Big Brother & the Holding Company, the Grateful Dead, Moby Grape, Country Joe & the Fish, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Buffalo Springfield, Donovan, the Doors, the Move, the Rascals, Simon & Garfunkel, and others. Admission is free.
