Protesting DEA Raids - Sacramento
In solidarity with support groups nationwide patients and advocates gathered in Sacramento today to protest the ongoing attack on States rights by federal DEA agents. Most recently a dozen high profile raids on medical cannabis co-ops in Southern California has motivated supporters and patients to take action.
Representatives from Medical Marijuana of America then visited the office of our Representative in Congress, Doris Matsui, to thank her for voting yes again on the Hinchey Amendment, and asked her to please discuss the issue with the 79 democrats that voted no at every possible opportunity. We are pleased to confirm that this is an important issue to Ms. Matsui and we have her continued support.
