TEHRAN, July 06 (ISNA)-Iran's foreign minister in a phone conversation with Ismail Haniyeh discussed the current conditions in Palestine.
"The Palestinian nation has constantly regarded all world Muslims at their side and we believe that these problems with faith in God and through the aid of Muslim nations will be solved soon," said Haniyeh in this phone conversation.
"Our true battle is with the Zionist regime and we do not want to fight our own brothers; this is why we have proposed direct negotiations between the two sides," he added.
Also Manouchehr Mottaki on his part while emphasizing of Haniyeh and Hamas's stance recognized negotiations as the only way to solve the current existing problems.
"We ask all Palestinian groups to solve their disputes through negotiations," said Mottaki.
