Thugs sent all over the Bayview to spread misinformation by SF Health Department

by Francisco Da Costa
Why would the San Francisco Health Department and Dr. Rajiv Bhatia resort to educating thugs and others at the last moment to send them into the community to spread misinformation. Lennar has been bombarding the community with toxic dust and Asbestos friables for months. Now, suddenly the SF Health Department has chosen to remedy the situation after adversely impacting the Bayview Hunters Point community for so long.
The San Francisco Health Department (SFHD) under the very poor leadership of Mitch Katz and Rajiv Bhatia have chosen with intent to adversely impact thousands of innocent folks in the Bayview Hunters Point - and particularly the innocent folks that live and work in and around Parcel A.

It has been over two months now that some of us have been holding Town Meetings every single Thursday, at Grace Tabernacle Community Church at 6 p.m. The Church is situated at Ingalls and Oakdale in the Bayview Hunters Point area.

Anyone can access the telephone number 1.866.475.6907 to get the best information about what is really happening on our community. That includes events such as Family Day Event and the Town Meetings - where people are educated and any one can ask questions and get good answers.

Now, that the community has gone out of its way to educate the people - here, come thugs walking around the community paid by Lennar to do outreach and spread misinformation. the information they hand out has NO contact number and it is full of misinformation.

The sad thing about this episode is that the San Francisco Health Department is behind this effort.

The SFHD has been holding briefings at Arc Ecology who has been funded by SF Redevelopment Agency. Marcia Rosen and Saul Bloom aka Donald Saleman do not have the better interest of the community. Saul Bloom is the Director of Arc Ecology and Marica Rosen is the Director of SF Redevelopment Agency.

Arc Ecology has been given over $600,000 to do outreach and has NOT done anything much. In the mean time NOT one single dollar has been spent by the City and County of San Francisco and Mayor Gavin Newsom - to test our children. We are talking - blood tests.

Over 33,200 signatures were collected to keep SF Redevelopment out of our community. The case is still in Court - now in the Appeals Court. We the people did this because we did not trust the SF Redevelopment Agency, Mayor Gavin Newsom, and of course scum bags like Lennar BVHP LLC.

Also the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) and the Project Area Committee (PAC) all stacked up by Mayor Gavin Newsom and folks like Jessie Blout and Marcia Rosen to do the dirty work of Lennar.

So, the matter about having SF Redevelopment Agency in our community and the fake Project Area without a meaningful dialog - is still in the air - and now that the people know about SF Redevelopment Agency and folks like Nicole Franklin, Jessie Blout, Willie B. Kennedy and others - we really do not want such scum bags in our community.

In the interim the SF Health Department that gets paid by Lennar for most everything connected with Parcel A - does not know what to do - as the people are now up in arms against those that should have been protecting the community in the first place.

Statements have been made " Air quality in the neighborhoods near the Shipyard is better than other parts of neighborhood and the city and many portions of the State of California".

For God's sake the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard is a Superfund Site and the EPA has ample data that the air is the worst ever. But, now the SF Health Department and its head says the opposite. Go figure and only in San Francisco. In the mean time the Main Media is silent - thank God for IndyMedia.

The above statement one of many signed by Mitchell H.Katz, MD says it all. This jack ass has no idea what he is talking about and should resign - now.

For years thugs from the community mostly Black have been given money to do the dirty work for Lennar BVHP LLC. Lennar is known for such activities all over the Nation - much like the Mafia operates.

July 9, 2007 at 1p.m. in Room 263 at City Hall a Special Hearing will be held on Parcel A and the bombardment of toxic dust and Asbestos Dust by Lennar - complete with documents and empirical data that the public should know about - will be on the table.

The Black scum bag cronies are ducking for cover - but it is too late - all of them should be ashamed for taking blood money and harming our innocent children.

In the interim we have getting support from all over the Nation - Florida, North Carolina, New Mexico, Sacramento, Texas - people are asking us what they can do to get rid of Lennar that has harmed so many - building poor quality homes on toxic land and other homes of very poor quality and deceiving mostly poor home owners.

For sure that is NOT going to happen in San Francisco - we want Lennar out of our community.

We want the Black sell outs out of our community and we will name them - soon, each and every one of them.

We are putting Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Mayor Gavin Newsom, Sophina Maxwell, Kofi Bonner, Laurence Pelosi, the BOS that voted for Lennar, and the many cronies such as Aurelious Walker, Doris Vincent, Drs. Rajiv Bhatia, Mitch Katz, Jessie Blout, Nicole Franklin and many more on NOTICE.

Enough is Enough.
