Raging Granny doctors, nurses and patients engaged theater-goers in singing and antics on May 29, 2007 at the Century 16 in Mountain View California. Alongside members of OneCareNow (Health Care for All), the Green Party, Veterans for Peace, and activists for Democratic presidential candidates, we passed out over 1,000 leaflets and collected postcards signed by movie patrons telling Gov. Arnie...we want Single Payer Health Care!
In July of 2004 the Raging Grannies caused a sensation when they performed in front of the same Mountain View CA theater at the premier of Moore's film "Fahrenheit: 9/11" and were met with a shower of accolades and unsolicited donations of money from the crowd.
