Enjoy the ambience of the San Francisco Bay with dinner and the Brass Liberation Orchestra while learning about the struggle of the ILWU-IBU and Master, Mates and Pilots to keep the bay unionized. We will sail by the rising eastern span of the San Francisco Bay Bridge. Former boilermaker and labor photographer Joseph Blum will talk about how the new bridge is being constructed along with presentations by other construction and maritime workers. Gray Brechin and other historians will provide a picture of our history in the past and its relevance today.

Food will be provided, however, if you are on a special diet, please bring your own food.
