Protest Ed Jew today from 2PM-5PM in The Sunset!
I just called Ed Jew's office to request his schedule and was informed he will be hosting an open house on Noriega from 2PM-5PM today.

The aide told me it was at Noriega Teriyaki House located at:

1755 Noriega Street (cross street is 25th)

Let's show those pseudo-supporters from last week by showing up with a bigger turn out!

"Ed Jew Step Down!"

My wife, son and I show up with 3 poster sized signs. One reading, "Ed Jew Step Down!", another that says, "Get Out of My District!" and the other read, "Ed Jew: Quickly Leave!". When we arrive in front of the Teriyaki House with the signs, several (4 or 5) older Asian women come running out with small orange stickers that say, "Ed Jew Defense Fund : http://www.edjew.net". They were clearly surpised and obviously irritated at our presence. Often yelling at us in Chinese and attempting to start an arguement in broken English; they were easily ignorable.

One particular senior citizen in the group was quite vocal about my son's presence on the corner, "He doesn't vote. Why is he here?" She was correct in saying he doesnt vote, he's only seven. But when he replied, "So what. Ed Jew doesnt live here." She didnt have a comeback. It was funny.

There were 3 SFPD officers inside the restaurant when we arrived but quickly came outside when the small, female Asian contingent grew louder and more perturbed. Directing their anger toward my family and I, they clearly did not want us there.

Meanwhile, Ed Jew sat at a table inside the restaurant taking individual guests like Don Corleone. He was never alone at his table but there was never more than one person sitting across from him. It was weird!
Ed was clealy aware of our presence as we would often stand directly outside the window from which he was seated inside; with all 3 signs facing inwards. We spent about 2 hours on the corner with our computer generated poster signs and left before the supporters did. Got quite a few honks of support and only got flipped off once!

Happy Summer Solstice!

Just the Facts

I want to take this opportunity generously provided by the Sunset Beacon to clear the air, and to talk directly to the voters of District 4 who elected me to the office of Supervisor – an honor I take very seriously.

I have no intention of resigning my office. I was born, raised, and educated in San Francisco. In addition to our flower shop, that’s been in my family for 80 years, my wife and I have worked very hard in our lives and own a number of properties, including a house on 32nd Avenue that we recently sold. We now live 28th Avenue in a house owned by my father. My daughter attends a Catholic school in Chinatown. My wife owns a house in Burlingame that serves as a gathering place for her side of our family on weekends and holidays, but we don’t live there. And yes, we do have utility services on 28th Avenue – all of them.

I cannot speak to the motivations of the city employees and elected officials who have contributed to the rumors and insinuations about my residency in recent days, other than to say that I have stood up against every one of them in my six months in office at one time or another, and they have not been happy about it.

Finally, I believe in our country’s system of laws and know that the truth will come out about all of the matters you’ve read about in the papers recently. I sincerely thank all of you who have taken the time to send notes and make calls of support – they have been greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten.

So, he, his wife, and his daughter all live in the district but there's virtually no utility usage, no one has ever seen any of them coming in or out, and the Burlingame house is just for entertaining. Got it?
by who cares?
One problem with this scandal from the outside is that it is really hard to care. The bribe charge is one thing but where he lives seems to have little to do with what he does in office. I guess I'm ok with a regulation saying you have to live where you get elected but in terms of representing the community, I don't really know how much it helps.
Election law integrity is important, although hearing that principle stressed by our current election fraud duo in office, "mayor" Gavin Newsom and "district attorney" Kamala Harris, both of whom are in office with fraudulent votes from the same election fraud team, is insulting, hypocritical, and makes me wonder about their motives in attacking their fellow Democrat.

As to those of us who do sincerely care about election fraud, Ed Jew's lack of residency in the district he claims to represent at the time he ran for office makes one wonder why he ran for supervisor. His residence was obviously in Burlingame at the time and the various proofs offered are more than enough; as far as I am concerned, his claiming his homeowner's exemption was sufficient, but as we have heard, there was lots more.

From the votes Ed Jew has provided on the Board of Supervisors so far, he is very reactionary. We can only speculate that his sponsors, the reactionary gang known as the Chinese Six Companies, ran him for office to promote an even more reactionary agenda than the anti-rent control, gentrification election-frauding Democrat-Republican gang at City Hall has been promoting for over 40 years. Regardless of his politics, if he does not (or did not at the time he ran for office) live in the area he is supposed to represent, he cannot hold office.

The question we all must ask, where are the pro-rent control people in District 4, the Sunset? The last supervisor from that district, Democrat Fiona Ma, was viciously reactionary. The Green Party did not endorse any supervisorial candidate from that district. It would have been better if they ran a candidate for supervisor. There are also some labor union people in that district. What are they all doing, allowing this insult of endless reactionary candidates from District 4, and now apparently someone who committed election fraud?

Being born and raised in San Francisco has absolutely nothing to do with being a member of the Board of Supervisors. As to sending one's child to Catholic school, it should be illegal for any elected official to send one's child to private or parochial school. Maybe then the public schools would improve. In fact, it would be best if all private and parochial schools were abolished; then the middle class would be screaming so loudly for more money from the general funds for schools that they would indeed improve. I do know a few things about the Catholic Church: It is anti-abortion, anti-gay, and anti-science. Galileo was right; the Catholic Church is and was wrong. Religion is of course superstition. A private school may be understandable, but not a religious school.
