2 phony SF Supervisor Recalls Latest Attack on Rent Control by Democrat Newsom
With the phony recall attempts of pro rent control Supervisor McGoldrick and now of pro-rent control Board President Supervisor Peskin, plus the outright illegal refusal of "mayor" Gavin Newsom to release funds for affordable housing after approval by a majority of the elected Board of Supervisors, it is clear that Newsom and his Chamber of Commerce anti-rent control patrons are trying to manipulate district elections to an anti-rent control majority. Where is the Green or Red candidate for mayor?

Obviously, if these recalls are successful, Newsom can appoint 2 anti-rent control supervisors who will be incumbents when running for office in November 2008, and will have a year or so to do lots of damage to rent control. Meanwhile, this thug sitting illegally in the mayor's office with election fraud is illegally refusing to release funds for affordable housing for the workingclass, a proposal voted for by a majority of the Board of Supervisors. It is clear that Nazi Newsom should be recalled immediately. It is also clear that we need a pro-rent control candidate for mayor. What is the Green Party doing? Is it going to just sit there and watch the destruction of its political base, namely tenants? The same is true of Peace & Freedom Party. Without workingclass tenants, there is no Green or Peace & Freedom Party in San Francisco.

I don't know what substance you're ingesting, but charging Newsom with wanting to overturn the city's draconian rent control is nuts.
He has never, ever, EVER mentioned this.
You want to "recall" Newsom? Right! When his approval rating is above 70%?
Contrary to popular belief, not everyone in this town is a Marxist/Socialist like you. Lots are, but not all. Some of us have to actually work and live in the real world.
As to the "affordable housing" funds, Newsom has been crystal clear in stating that he will not spend money the city does not have. There is a $125,000,000 surplus this year. We're going to need that to cover the expected budget shortfalls next year.
Newsom has already budgeted over $200,000,000 for "affordable housing" this year. Another $28.000.000 isn't needed now.
Daly is an idiot. He was elected by a tiny minority of SF's citizens. If he wants to run for mayor, he should put his money where his mouth is and run.
Bitching and whining is no way to run a city.
