Take a Stand for Freedom and Return for Palestinians

Dear Palestine Solidarity Activists:

I am writing on behalf of the local coalition of the international 40/60 campaign for freedom and return (see: http://www.badil. org/call- en.htm). We invite you to join us in a display of solidarity on Tuesday, June 5 at 3pm in front of Cong. Nancy Pelosi's office at 450 Golden Gate Ave in SF to commemorate 40 years of Israeli Occupation of the Palestinian people.

We will urge Pelosi to stand firmly on ending Israeli occupation, and a just solution which recognizes Palestinian human rights and equality under international law. We will also voice strong opposition to the bill due on the House floor in early June, by war hawk Tom Lantos, which is designed to congradulate Israel for 40 years of occupation, and to celebrate the 1967 Six Day War!
